Begin uw dag met een pick-up van 08:00 uur bij uw hotel in Siem Reap. Vanaf daar kunt u genieten van een schilderachtige rit naar het Archeologisch Park Angkor dat op de UNESCO-lijst staat.
Bij aankomst koop je je Angkor Pass en begin je je avontuur bij Angkor Wat, het kroonjuweel van Khmer-architectuur. Gebouwd tussen 1113 en 1150 AD en oorspronkelijk gewijd aan de hindoegod Vishnu, Angkor Wat is een meesterwerk van design, symboliseert Mount Meru, het mythische centrum van het universum in de hindoeïstische kosmologie.
Ga vervolgens naar Angkor Thom, de grote hoofdstad die door koning Jayavarman VII is gesticht. Betreed de majestueuze Zuidpoort, waar rijen beelden van goden en demonen het legendarische Karnen van de Melkzee naspelen.
Binnen in de stad bezoekt u de raadselachtige Bayon Tempel, waar meer dan 200 serene, lachende stenen gezichten neerkijken vanaf torens die de meelevende Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara vertegenwoordigen.
Vervolg uw ontdekkingstocht met een wandeling naar Ba Phuon Tempel en langs het Terras van de Olifanten, ooit gebruikt door de koning voor het bekijken van ceremonies en militaire parades. In de buurt kunt u het Terras van de Leprakoning bezoeken, versierd met ingewikkeld houtsnijwerk en doordrenkt van koninklijk mysterie.
Sluit uw reis af bij Ta Prohm, een van de meest fotogenieke en sfeervolle tempels in het complex. Oorspronkelijk een boeddhistisch klooster en universiteit, werd het gebouwd door koning Jayavarman VII ter ere van zijn moeder.
Na een dag vol ontdekkingstochten kunt u ontspannen op uw tuk-tuk/auto terug naar Siem Reap. Uw Gids zet u af bij uw hotel of een centrale locatie naar keuze.

Through our tour operator in the Netherlands, we had the pleasure of being guided at the Ankor Wat temple complex and the surrounding points of interest of Siem Reap. Mr. Chantra was our guide, a young dynamic gentleman telling with plenty of knowledge and passion about the history of this beautiful region and the whole of Cambodia and bordering countries. For Dutch speaking customers, Mr. Chantra is fluent in Dutch too. He understands humor and is just fun to be with. If you look for a good guide, look no further!

Our tour through the Angkor Archaeological Park was simply perfect. While temples like Angkor Wat, Bayon, and Ta Prohm are incredible on their own, our guide Steven made the day truly special. He shared so much great knowledge—not just about the temples, but also about Cambodian culture and daily life. Thanks to his clever routing, we easily avoided the massive tour groups. He also pointed out nice photo spots and gave us all the time we needed without making us feel rushed. Calling us "customers" wouldn't do it justice—from minute one, it felt like exploring with a good friend. Pick-up and drop-off were seamless, too. Steven was an amazingly knowledgeable and thoughtful guide. He brought all the temple sites, images, sculptures to life with his commentary and real affection for what he was showing us. Nothing was too much trouble and the pace we went at was perfect and we newever felt under any pressure. We had the pleasure of 3 days in Siem Reap with our private guide Samun, and personal driver (Tear - think that's correct spelling), touring Angkor Wat and the surrounding temples in February 2026. It was truly an unforgettable experience. Samun was incredibly knowledgeable about the rich history and made us feel safe and comfortable. He was also good company understanding and accommodating our personal needs. The attention to detail like the cold towels and chilled water bottles after spending time in the heat were always very welcome and appreciated. He also helped to capture the most stunning photos.
