Angkor Wat is het grootste religieuze monument ter wereld en de beroemdste zonsopgang ter wereld. Het is een verbazingwekkend groot en ambitieus complex dat de kracht en majesteit van de oude Angkor-beschaving symboliseert.
Ta Prohm is een pittoreske en aantrekkelijke ruïne, gedeeltelijk heroverd door de jungle. Het staat ook bekend als 'de Tomb Raider-tempel', beroemd gemaakt door Angelina Jolie in de film uit 2001.
Ta Keo is nooit afgemaakt en heeft als zodanig een heel ander aspect dan de meeste Angkor-tempels. De vierkante, gelaagde piramidevorm maakt het een van de meer dramatische plekken op de tour en het beklimmen van de terrassen biedt een prachtig uitzicht over de jungle.
Angkor Thom was de laatste hoofdstad van het Angkor-rijk. De weg voert ons door de beroemde South Gate, bekleed met goden en demonen Vergrendeld in een eeuwig touwtrekken. De tempel van Bayon in het midden van de site is bekleed met talloze beatific gebeeldhouwde gezichten, eeuwig starend naar het omliggende bos. Op deze stad bezoeken we alleen Bayon tempel die de belangrijkste tempel van deze stad is )

Sok was a wonderful guide! He was very informative about the history of Cambodia and the Angkor Wat temples. He also knew the best spots to take a photo. This trip was wonderful! We were hot but the guide and driver made sure we stayed hydrated with cold water and cool with chilled wet wipes. I highly recommend this tour. Without S’ok we would have missed a huge part of all that Angkor Wat has to offer.
