De tempels in het Archeologisch Park Angkor, dat op de UNESCO-lijst staat, hebben bijna duizend jaar geschiedenis, dus een rondleiding is een goede manier om zoveel mogelijk te leren over de kunst en architectuur van de tempels. Tijdens deze gedeelde tour neemt uw APSARA geautoriseerde Gids u mee naar de hoogtepunten van de drie belangrijkste tempels.

Aankomst in Angkor Wat rond 5:00 AM en genieten van het prachtige uitzicht op de tempel als het komt uit de duisternis. Je hebt genoeg tijd om dit belangrijkste tempelterrein te verkennen en foto's te maken van het majestueuze bouwwerk. Uw gids zal een schat aan informatie geven om u te helpen begrijpen waar u naar kijkt.
Daarna bezoekt u Angkor Thom City. Dit was de hoofdstad van het Khmer-rijk in de 12e eeuw en beschikt over vele indrukwekkende gebouwen en monumenten. Stop bij de zuidelijke poort van de stad om meer te weten te komen over de architectuur en geschiedenis.
Bezoek Bayon Temple, ook wel bekend als de Tempel van de Honderd Gezichten. Deze tempel staat bekend om zijn gigantische stenen gezichten die verschillende godheden en koningen voorstellen. Bayon is een van de meest indrukwekkende en unieke tempels in Angkor. Het combineert elementen van het hindoeïsme en boeddhisme op een harmonieuze manier. Het weerspiegelt Jayavarman VII’s visie om een nieuwe hoofdstad te creëren die zowel mooi als krachtig zou zijn. Het weerspiegelt ook zijn toewijding aan zijn religie en zijn volk.
Deze tempel is beroemd om zijn begroeide vegetatie en oude houtsnijwerk. Je hebt nog een uur om je te verwonderen over de schoonheid en het mysterie van deze tempel. Reizigers noemden deze tempel Tomb Raider.

We had a wonderful Tuk-Tuk tour around Angkor. Our guide was friendly, helpful, and spoke very good English. The temples were beautiful, the Tuk-Tuk was comfortable, and cold water was provided during the tour. We learned a lot about Cambodian history and culture. Everything was well organized. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Siem Reap!

King Kong was our tour guide and we loved the half day tour of Angkor Wat and the rest of the temples with him! It was short enough to not make us tired but lomg enough to learn enough about the history of the temples. Highly recommended!

TripAdvisor DID NOT pass on our booking to the Tour Company until the morning of our tour. We booked and paid well in advance. We called the Tour company as they were not at our Hotel as planned and they informed us that they had only just received the details from TripAdvisor and were frantically calling to try and find a car and a guide. We were supposed to be picked up at 7.40am but were waiting in the hot sun at 9.40am still waiting for a guide. Very Very Poor service from TripAdvisor and I wont book with them again. The Tour Company did their best for us and offered to extend our tour but as we were now walking Temples in the Full Heat of the day it was exhausting and not enjoyable. It was in no way the fault of The Tour Company "Angkor Thom Siem Reap Tour" as they had only been given our booking that morning. Maybe contact them direct rather than using TRIPADVISOR. Very Disappointing by TripAdvisor and a shame to have left a bad feeling with us rather than a happy one that we should of had, as we had planned well in advance.

Guide picked us up promptly from our hotel and was very friendly. Unfortunately his English was not as good as previous guides we have had. I didn’t like not having a choice as to where I would buy lunch The guide took a lot of photos for us

The tour was well arranged. The pick was 08:00 as agreed. We visited Ankgor Wat, Bayon, Ta Promh and saw smaller sites (Terrace of the Elephants etc. We had big car with driver (excellent Mr Nak). Our tour guide was sympathetic Mr Thy, who had very good knowledge of English, Angkor Park and Cambodia in general. We had a good day, recommendable, especially, if you want to see key temples in one day. Of course, Park offers lot to see for several days.
