Angkor Wat Bayon en Ta Prohm met een korte wandeling naar de oude stad

We gaan drie hoofdtempels bezoeken in de kleine rondreis, zoals de tempel Angkor Wat, Bayon en Ta Prohm. Met deze tour heeft het echter ook nog een kleine tempel, als je energie hebt, brengen we je ook rond. Angkor Wat is een enorme tempel. Het werd gebouwd in 1113 - 1150 na Christus door koning Suryavarman II en meet 330 meter bij 260 meter. Angkor Wat heeft drie niveaus met 5 hoofdtorens. Angkor Wat is het nationale symbool van Cambodja geworden en staat zelfs op de vlag van het land, omdat het de ziel van het land symboliseert. Vervolgens gaan we Angkor Thom City bezoeken en stoppen bij de South Gate van Angkor Thom City en de Bayon-tempel en gaan dan verder naar de Baphuon-tempel, Elephant Terrace, het Terrace of the Leper King en het Royal Palace. Dan is de finale van de tour gaan we de Ta Prohm-tempel bezoeken die bekend staat als de Tomb Rider-tempel. Keer ten slotte terug naar het hotel.

We gaan Angkor Wat Temple van buiten bekijken en binnen de tempel bekijken met leergeschiedenis door onze lokale deskundige gids. Deze tempel is een vertegenwoordiging van Cambodja en staat op de vlag van Cambodja.
Het noemde als Tonle Oum. Deze stad heeft 5 poorten, zoals de zuidpoort, de spookpoort of de poort van de doden, de overwinningspoort, de dei chhnang-poort of de noordpoort en de moordpoort. Deze stad heeft 3 kilometer aan elke kant.
We gaan de Bayon-tempel van buiten bekijken en binnen de tempel bekijken met leergeschiedenis door onze lokale deskundige gids. Deze tempel is echt beroemd met de gezichten.
We gaan de Ta Prohm-tempel van buiten bekijken en binnen de tempel bekijken met leergeschiedenis door onze lokale gids. Deze tempel staat bekend als boomtempel.

My tour guide (Dan) was terrific! He was a good storyteller and had a vast knowledge of Cambodian history (both cultural and political) as well as the religions that shaped the building of the temples and the carvings on the walls. He also augmented his discussions with pictures and videos. For instance, one of the relief sculptures on the wall depicted a Hindu battle scene. He showed me a short video of the battle that really helped pull it all together. He encouraged questions and answered everything with the right level of detail. Plenty of cold water and cold towels were available. There a lot of walking and climbing up stairs and uneven stones to step on and over so bring good walking shoes and a lot of energy. We were fortunate that it was reasonably mild weather that morning (85 degrees) so it wasn’t as taxing as it may be in warmer weather. I highly recommend this tour.

It was our first time visiting the temples in Siem Reap and we had an unforgettable experience with Thom.
