Adem diep in en maak je klaar om het eenmalige reisavontuur te ervaren wanneer je de mooiste zonsopgang in Angkor Wat kunt zien. Reis op tijd in het Angkor-gebied en wil de hoogtepunten zien en ervaren, zullen deze handige tour geweldig vinden. Door vroeg in de ochtend te beginnen, kunt u de zon zien opkomen boven Angkor Wat, een onvergetelijke ervaring. Geniet van de adembenemende uitzichten en leer hoe de opkomende zon de tempels tot leven brengt. Dan zullen we ons een weg banen door andere tempels in het gebied, waarvan vele andere toeristen gemist hebben, dus het is onwaarschijnlijk dat ze zo druk zijn als Angkor Wat zelf. Leer alles over de Khmer-cultuur en geschiedenis van je lokale gids en reis met een jeep in de open lucht.

Begin je jeeptour met een vroege ochtend om 05:00 uur, haal je op bij je accommodatie.
Aankomst in de tempel, onze gids zal de beste plek vinden om de zonsopgang te bekijken en perfecte foto's te maken. Ga vervolgens naar beneden om de oude tempel te verkennen op zijn meest sfeervolle, badend in de warme gloed van de ochtendzon. We gaan naar het binnenste heiligdom van Angkor Wat om het houtsnijwerk en de architectuur van de tempel te bewonderen voordat we ontbijten.
Na het ontbijt volgen we de hoofdweg naar Angkor Thom, vol met stenen sculpturen met demonen en goden. Leer meer over de culturele betekenis van de Bayon-tempel, het terras van de Leprakoning en de koninklijke omheining van je gids. Na een rondje door Bayon, nemen we een korte pauze om te genieten van onze lichte verfrissing om je energieniveau op peil te houden voordat we weer in onze jeep stappen en verder gaan naar het Olifantenterras.
We gaan dan door Angkor via wegen op weg naar de Ta Prohm-tempel. Wees voorbereid op deze iconische tempel die wordt overwoekerd door junglebomen en wijnstokken, met veel delen van de tempel die op de grond afbrokkelen.
Na de lunch keert u terug naar Siem Reap door Cambodjaanse dorpen die een kijkje in het plattelandsleven bieden. Rest van de dag vrij op eigen gelegenheid

- Het grootste deel van het jaar is het warm als je de tempels verkent. De gids zal regelmatig stoppen waar je kunt genieten van onze lichte verfrissing. Blijf alsjeblieft gehydrateerd en breng zonnebrandcrème en petten mee om jezelf tegen de zon te beschermen.

We spent three days exploring the Siem Reap area. The temples were stunning. We took in the sunrise over Angkor Wat - brilliant. And we did it all from our restored and upgraded 1962 mil-spec Jeep, which is absolutely the way to go. Great guide, great drivers, great time!

Omg this was incredible! Disclosure, I have been desert Jeep tour guide over 20 years,xso am a "tough audience). My wife booked private tour instead of bus group tour (more expensive). Guide was incredible, the sights were top tier and nonus was we got to do at OUR pace. So much info, admittadly I can't remember 5%, but I can remember the guide made the whole experience beyond fun. The "cherry on top" was incredible selection of fresh fruits AND we stopped at great "off the path" restaurant for "more thanwe could eat" local lunch. Was among top 4 experiences (of which I would not compare anny, as all were wonderful) of 18 day Vietnam / Cambodia, including "Jeep" tour in Vietnam. I absolutely recommend this activity 1000% Side note (ok, a bit biased), though tips are generally a percentage of cost, as this was incredibly cheap compared to tours elsewhere, I encourage tipping based on the experience limited by your ability / budget x experience. A great experience should be rewarded by value to you. Addendum: Pic with hood up: Jeep was Perfect, as a mechanic, I (and my evil twin🤠) had to peek under the hood. If ever in Scottsdale, ask for "SteveO".
