Fiets door Siem Reap en het omliggende platteland van Angkor en zie de tempels badend in een warm, gouden licht. Verken de junglepaden van Angkor Thom, Bayon en Angkor in de schemering en leer meer over de rijke geschiedenis van dit tempelcomplex. Maak later een rustige rit met een drakenboot op de gracht van Angkor Thom, genietend van lokale delicatessen en verfrissende koude dranken aan boord, waaronder frisdranken en wat bier. Dit is de perfecte manier om te genieten van een onvergetelijke zonsondergangtour.

13:45 uur ophalen bij je hotel Je middagtour bij zonsondergang door Angkor begint in de Siem Reaper-winkel en gaat door het platteland van Siem Reap, waarbij je de Siem Reap-rivier oversteekt. Je neemt een pad dat je achter Angkor Wat leidt. Dit is een route die maar weinigen nemen en die een vredig en onbelemmerd uitzicht garandeert op dit prachtige complex dat voor veel Cambodjanen een grote historische en religieuze betekenis heeft.
Na een korte stop om te tanken op koud water en vers fruit, vervolgen we onze rit. We omzeilen de drukte van bezoekers die Angkor Park verlaten en volgen in plaats daarvan enkelsporige rijstroken langs prachtige rijstvelden en kleine historische familiepercelen waar het leven generaties lang onveranderd lijkt.
Omdat de tempels dicht bij bezoekers zijn, zullen we de wegen en paden van het park betreden om deze opmerkelijke historische plek in een andere context te verkennen. Om de avond compleet te maken, nemen we een privé Dragon Boat-cruise op een oude waterweg terwijl we aan boord genieten van lokale delicatessen en drankjes met een prachtig uitzicht op de zonsondergang.

Great ride through the temples. Our guide Ben was knowledgeable but also pitched it right for the kids. Equipment / bikes were in excellent condition and matched properly with riders. We only really got it for the cycling but the sunset boat ride also turned out good fun with much needed refreshments at the end.
Me and my friends had a fantastic day out with song as our tour guide. We arrived late in to Siam reap the night before and as a result we were unable to get on the sunrise tour which was our preference. However, the company was very proactive in organising an afternoon bike tour instead. The sunset tour was brilliant, there was minimal crowds and Song’s insight and knowledge of the Angkor Wat was unbelievable. We all couldn’t believe how quiet the place was and even though it was hot, it wasn’t unbearable. Song and the Siam reaper crew provided us cold beers after the Angkor wat tour before we got on the bikes which we rode to two other temples in the area. I highly recommend doing the bike tour as it is a great way to explore the area and make a full day of the Angkor wat. I’d also recommend the afternoon tour as the site was very quiet.
We did this tour in the afternoon of the day we arrived to Siem Reap so it was the first experience there for us, and by the end of our stay, we still thought it was one of the best, if not the best tour we did. Loved everything about it, fantastic service, wonderful introduction to the city and temples while cycling, wonderful snacks and fruit and absolutely amazing sunset in the boat. I’d do this tour again in a heartbeat.
The experience was the perfect mix of bicycling, sight seeing, and learning many interesting details of the Cambodian history and its beautiful people. The tour through the temple was really amazing. The guide Voleak was very knowledgeable about the details of the carvings in the temple. So interesting. The river boat ride was so peaceful and lovely. I loved the bike ride thru the various roads and trails off the beaten paths. I would definitely recommend this tour to someone who wants to get some exercise while experiencing the many things Seam Reap has to offer. Thank you so much for offering this type of tour.
Excellent tour. The guide, Voleak aka Handsome is great, friendly and very knowledgeable. You only need basic cycling skills to do this. Highly recommended.

We went as a couple and we were the only ones on the tour. Our guide, Voleak, was great taking us along backwoods bike paths and to some of the lesser visited temples which made it nice and peaceful. We also rode by Bayon temple which is one of my favorites. A sunset ride in a traditional boat with beer and snacks capped off a great afternoon. It was a 5 star tour. My only complaint is the price which I think was very high for this activity, but I knew that in advance and elected to go anyway.
I’m sorry to write this so late! I had an amazing experience cycling round the temples. My host was excellent. It was well paced - not too challenging. Then beers on the gondola at the end under the sunset were perfect. And they had a nice surprise for me too - a birthday cake!!
Amazing trip to Angkor Wat! Sightseeing by bike combines nature and history in a very pleasant way, avoiding long queues and massive crowds whilst ensuring best possible views! The closing boat trip was unbeatable including delicous local fingerfood and ice cold AW beers…
We had the best afternoon doing this tour! Rith is an excellent guide. The pick up from the hotel was on time, the explanation of our journey was detailed and the route on the bikes was ideal. Rith took the time to explain everything to us. The sunset boat tour was a cherry on the cake. Would highly recommend this tour.
