Oude Burana en Konorchek Canyons Kleine groepsreis

Ontdek de perfecte mix van geschiedenis en natuur tijdens deze kleine groepsreis vanuit Bisjkek. Verken de Burana Tower, een minaret uit het Zijderoute-tijdperk met een panoramisch uitzicht en oude steenhouwerijen. Bezoek vervolgens de Konorchek Canyons, een prachtig landschap van torenhoge rode rotsformaties en kronkelende paden. Deze schilderachtige en culturele ontsnapping biedt een uniek avontuur net buiten de stad.

Ontmoet je gids en medereizigers om 8:00 uur op het aangewezen ontmoetingspunt. Na een korte introductie stapt u aan boord van een comfortabele minibus en begint u uw reis naar de Burana Tower, waarbij u onderweg door schilderachtige landschappen rijdt.
De eerste stop is de Burana Tower, een historische minaret uit de 11e eeuw, ooit onderdeel van een oude zijderoute stad. Klim naar de top voor een prachtig uitzicht, bezoek het kleine museum en verken oude steenhouwerijen (ballen) verspreid over de site. Je gids vertelt boeiende verhalen over de geschiedenis en het belang ervan in het verleden van Kirgizië.
Ga verder naar Konorchek Canyons, een adembenemend natuurwonder met torenhoge rode rotsformaties. De wandeling duurt ongeveer 2,5 tot 3 uur heen en terug, via een gemakkelijke route met een paar uitdagende stukken waar de gids en medereizigers zullen helpen indien nodig. Wandel door een schilderachtige kloof, steek droge rivierbeddingen over en bewonder dramatische rotsformaties, die in de loop van miljoenen jaren zijn gevormd door wind en water. Geniet van het prachtige panoramische uitzicht, geniet van de rustige sfeer en maak prachtige foto's van een van de meest unieke landschappen van Kirgizië.
Na een dag vol geschiedenis en avontuur kunt u ontspannen op de rit terug naar Bisjkek. Aankomst op het oorspronkelijke ontmoetingspunt, waar uw tour wordt afgesloten met onvergetelijke herinneringen aan het verleden en de natuurlijke schoonheid van Kirgizië.

The part with the Burana tower was as expected. The hike in the Canyon was not at all what the tour was promising. We never reached the real Konorchek Canyon. The hike was a 1,5h hike up a really annoying dirty road to a overview point, where you were supposed to see both parts of the Canyon, but actually you only saw a climpse of the real Canyon. On top of all that, we still had to walk back the same Dirty road to the car. Btw both war’s in the burninf sun. I told the Guide, who really was kind and careing, that the agency definetely should overthink the tour. The way it is right now is not worth the money.
I have booked to issyk kul lake one day trip.The trip was very good , the tour guide Mr.Eraly (Ali) he is well knowledge about the country and the culture. His hospitality was very good and he came with us where we go and explained very well. Over all value for money and we god a very good guide. Thanks to Ali for his hospitality and the information sharing with us.
Highlight was trek to the canyon via a deep gorge, with a few scrambles over rocks and boulders, aided by fixed ropes. About an hour to the picturesque canyon, especially in full sun, contrasting with green grasses, flowers and shrubs on the valley floor.
Went to see the places and had plenty of time in each of them. Canyons was beautiful, but maybe take proper hiking shoes as there's some mud walking to the canyon. Thank you for a great tour :))

Small group tour worked very well, we had chance to ask about everything. We had Faruk as a tour guide, he was so kind, friendly, helpful and made us laugh. We felt safe all the way. The view at the canyon was spectacular and the history of Burana Tower was fascinating. Thank you!

Super amazing experience exploring Kyrgyzstan , also we had issy kul added to the day even though it was not originally on the plan but it was a great trip and we had a great dinner at the end in a very good place . Anvar is a good tour guide !! Very knowledgeable and friendly

A wonderful day trip - the canyon is gorgeous. The guide was excellent and very helpful in supporting me during the hike when struggled with footing at several point with very uneven terrain.
