Als eten het centrum is van je reizen naar het buitenland, kun je een stap achteruit doen, je voeten opstaan en lachen. Je bent op weg naar een avontuur. De verscheidenheid aan smaken in Nederland die in de loop der jaren zijn samengesmolten, onthullen de Nederlandse eetcultuur die prachtig combineert met de nationaliteiten die hier in de geschiedenis zijn gemigreerd en biedt ons een verscheidenheid aan traditionele en nieuwe oosterse en westerse smaken. Sta ons toe om je weg te trekken van de gebruikelijke toeristische route naar sommige dromerige plaatsen waar je niets van wist. Een allesomvattende ervaring van verhalen en smaken die onafscheidelijk zijn van de stad en maken het zo speciaal als het is. Alle proeverijen zijn al inbegrepen in de prijs van de tour. 3 uur, wat verhalen en heel veel eten, dus zeg niet dat we je niet hebben verteld dat je honger zult lijden.

Hoe leuk zou het zijn als op elke bestemming die we bezochten in de wereld een lokale vriend opdaagde om ons naar de beste plaatsen om te eten te brengen, plaatsen die we anders nooit zouden hebben ontdekt? Een droom die uitkomt, toch? Dus wat eten de Nederlanders en waar? Laten we eens kijken ... De Albert Cuypmarkt is een paradijs, gelegen in de wijk de Pijp. Zelfs als dit niet je eerste keer in de stad is, beloven we je smaken en voedingsmiddelen te ontdekken die je nog niet hebt ontmoet. Natuurlijk zullen we de grote spelers zoals Nederlandse friet, haring en stroopwafels proeven, maar dat is nog maar het begin. We hebben het beste van het beste van voedsel, plaatsen en verhalen verzameld die ons doen glimlachen en onze maag laat grommen door erover na te denken. Daarnaast stoppen we op plaatsen waar je voor huis lekkere souvenirs kunt kopen.
Een bezoek aan een van de meest levendige buurten van Amsterdam - niet te missen!

What an amazing experience the Hidden Gems tour was. Our small group learned so much from Guy! In our hours together, we tried things we never would have tried on our own as well as a few things we desperately wanted to try but hadn't been able to arrange. Do not plan to eat dinner after this afternoon tour! What a delicious, fun, and engaging way to see some parts of Amsterdam that we could not have found on our own. I am grateful we stumbled across this fabulous tour.
Inbal was super lovely from the first moment. She greeted us with gluhwine and local cake to kickstart the day, and it was all great food and fascinating stories ever since. Her warm nature, vast knowledge and true love of food and people turned the experience to much more than a tasting tour. We got to understand the history the Netherlands through its culinary past and present, while walking around having amazing food. I wish I could do it again!
We loved our food tour, in Amsterdam, with Guy. The food and drink we sampled were delicious. The venues we stopped at represented various local offerings. Places we would not have found on our own. We had an opportunity to meet the owners and workers such that we felt like we were joining the community. Guy is very knowledgable and personable. He taught us about these traditional offerings, and we thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent with him. He even got us to sample the herring - delicious! I would definitely recommend this tour.
This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Amsterdam. Inbal was so welcoming and knowledgeable of the city. All the food was very good. First time trying herring! 😂 Such a great experience, would highly recommend.
Our tour guide Guy was phenomenal! He combines the food with so much history about Amsterdam as well as taking us to small generational family businesses. Amazing!
We were a family of 13 people, including children, two of whom were celiac and two vegetarians. We were attentive to all requests and conducted accordingly. The tour was fun and added and responded to all ages. The younger was 7.5. Recommended warm.
Inbal was a great guide.she was generous with her knowledge and time and didn't rush us even when the tour was running a bit late. Every stop was different,it was interesting to hear about the Dutch life and the food was really delicious. I've done a few food tours around the world and never finished so full! Great experience
It was really fun and funny! We had a lot of fun, Guy was really charming, and the cost of the tour definitely justified itself. We were a group of six people on an English tour, everything was clear and understandable.
We enjoyed our time with Streat Bites very much! Never having joined a street food tour before, we weren't sure what to expect. We now have a high bar set for our next food tour. The best food in Amsterdam! Guy is an amazing guide! The food during the tour is as unusual as everybody thinks it is. The Indonesian and Suriname food are excellent and how can you do without fresh and tasty herring. Worth every dollar!
