Ontdek Amsterdam tijdens een 2,5 uur durende wandeltocht die geschiedenis, cultuur en entertainment combineert tot een onvergetelijke ervaring. Onder leiding van een deskundige Gids verken je het stadscentrum en hoor je fascinerende verhalen die vaak over het hoofd worden gezien door reisgidsen. Leer hoe een kleine nederzetting aan de Amstel tijdens de Nederlandse Gouden Eeuw het handelsknooppunt van Europa werd. De tour behandelt ook het meer controversiële verleden van Amsterdam: de evolutie van de Wallen, het liberale drugsbeleid en de donkerste hoofdstukken van de 20e eeuw. Elke halte biedt een uniek perspectief, waardoor u begrijpt waarom deze stad anders is dan alle andere. Aan het einde krijg je een diep inzicht in Amsterdam – de geschiedenis, tegenstellingen, tolerante geest en het bruisende heden – en het vertrouwen om op eigen houtje op ontdekking te gaan. Beursplein, het plein waar we onze tour zullen beginnen, zo genoemd omdat het naast de beurs ligt. Onze gids wacht op je voor de Cafe Bistro, naast de stierfiguur, met een blauwe paraplu of een tag met het Amsterdam Guides & Tours logo.
Amsterdam Centraal is ontworpen door de Nederlandse architect Pierre Cuypers en geopend in 1889. Het is het grootste treinstation van Amsterdam en het belangrijkste treinstation.

Het Muntplein is een van de bekendste pleinen van de stad en erg populair dankzij de bloemenmarkt die er gevestigd is.
Op het Spuiplein bezoeken we de Begijnhoftuinen en praten we over de Bloemenmarkt of De Krijtberg Kerk
We bezoeken het hart van Amsterdam op de Dam, waar u het Koninklijk Paleis, de Niuewekerk of het Nationaal Monument ziet

Excellant presentation of what we saw on the tour
I do not recommend this tour. On my tour the tour guide did not take us to see all the sights that are listed on the itinerary. It was very disappointing.

This is a great tour to start your vacation in Amsterdam, gives you a lay of the city and context to some of the iconic architecture, history, and culture.
