Een van de vele bruggen van Amsterdam is de prachtige Magere Brug, bekend bij Engels bij de Magere Brug. Deze houten ophaalbrug was ooit zo smal dat twee voetgangers elkaar moeilijk konden passeren. Om het toenemende verkeer op de Amstel aan te kunnen, werd in 1871 een bredere brug in de plaats van het smalle origineel geplaatst.

I would highly recommend the experience of this cruise with dinner on water. the crew was very nice and polite, the view excellent and in addition to all the nice surrounding the food was also delicious. big thanks for the trip!
Save your money, the experience is nothing like the advertising from the trip advisor site. The food was delicious and the wait staff were the only thing good about this trip. For $150 each ($450 total) I could have had the same experience at the highest rated restaurant in Amsterdam. We had to dock twice to get our 3 course meal, 1st the salad then the main course and dessert. While eating my 1st course salad I had the pleasure of watching the people sitting on the bench just outside my window watching me eat, that’s really romantic. The cruise advertising was that it was going to cruise through the canals of Amsterdam while we view some of the significant sites while cruising the canals. We cruised the same area 3-4 times. Save your money

I did the dinner cruise with my daughter and we both thought it was excellent. The boat itself is perfect and the staff, Frans and Jorn were extremely professional and friendly. No sharing tables, all tables are just for two people apart from a bigger table at the front which I think could seat 5 (although I sat here just with my daughter). The food was excellent. It’s picked up from a restaurant along the cruise path and was delicious. I will definitely return as my daughter is moving to Amsterdam to study so this will because a regular event.
Exceptional experience!! I would recommend to anyone looking to see different parts of Amsterdam by way of the canals. Great crew and captain made us all very comfortable. 10 out of 10.
Unusual trip. Small but unusual group. One couple with waaayyyy too much public display of affection, one extremely politically bent woman AND a couple who inconvenienced the entire group by not watching announcements and being at the incorrect meeting location. It was nice that the boat went to pick them up, but then that couple was compensated for their drinks and those of us truly inconvenienced by them received nothing. That was not appreciated. Food was excellent- it is actually picked up while underway so it was hot and delicious. I would go back to the restaurant. Captain and staff were friendly. Know ahead of time that this is NOT a sightseeing trip- there is not commentary while cruising (I tell you this so you are not disappointed and/or complaining to ruin the trip for others- again, we had a most unusual group). Also know ahead that other than your welcome drink, drinks are not included but there is beer/wine/water available for purchase. The wine was actually quite lovely. Overall it was a nice way to have a dinner and observe Amsterdam from the water.
This was so worth it! The food was delicious, the staff very nice, the others in board were interesting and it was relaxing! Thought about canceling because we were soooo tired but are so glad we didn't. Great find!
A very enjoyable evening touring the canals Food was absolutely delicious. Evening was very good value when you consider we got a top notch 3 course dinner and 2 hours sailing around the canal network
The pickup spot was convenient. The staff were pleasant. The food was excellent. Would have liked a bit more explanation of what we were seeing. For the price, I’m not sure the value for money was there as I would have expected more of a wow factor.
