Tijdens deze wandeltocht helpen we reizigers om de echte sfeer van Amritsar, Punjab, te verkennen en te voelen. We doen ons best om je reis onvergetelijk te maken met geweldige verhalen over de stad, leuke weetjes en enkele must-do dingen in Amritsar via onze vrolijke verhalenvertellers. Begint de tour vanuit 's werelds eerste Partition Museum in het stadhuisgebouw van Amritsar. Verhalen over de opdeling van India en Pakistan gebeurden in 1947 waarbij 18 miljoen+ mensen werden getroffen.
Loop naar Saragarhi Memorial Gurudwara gewijd aan 21 sikh-soldaten die hun leven hebben opgeofferd in het Britse leger.
Verhalen over Maharaja Ranjit Singh en het Punjab-rijk.
Bezoek het Jallianwala Bagh-monument en weet over het bloedbad van Jallianwala Bagh dat plaatsvond op 13 april 1919 op de feestelijke vooravond van Baisakhi.
Bezoek aan Akharas en de betekenis ervan in Amritsar.
Loop door de oude erfgoedstraten van Amritsar en begrijp de lokale levensstijl en geschiedenis van Amritsar. Bezoek smalle oude steegjes richting Baba Bohar (een grote oude banyanboom midden in de stad) Bezoek de 150 jaar oude werkplaats van de vroege industriële revolutie, waar gouden sieraden worden geslagen. Our guide was knowledgeable, professional, enthusiastic and friendly. Took us down alleys we wouldn't have gone down. Had jalebi & chai tea. Tour ended up at an ashram, which was unexpected but definitely a worthwhile experience.

A wonderful introduction to the streets around the GT. You will visit the Partition Museum outside, jalianwah Bagh inside and outside the GT as well as some back street houses and chi stall. Our guide rarity was excellent he took time to answer our many questions

Fantastic tour. We can honestly say that this was the best tour we’ve done in India. I’m saying honestly because this was also the only tour (so far) where we weren’t pressured to write a quick 5 star review before the end of the tour. Prarit was lovely. So warm and friendly and informative and really took time to hang with us and tell us all about the city. The itinerary was perfect and he helped us out with some great recommendations of places to eat. The stop for jalebis was incredible. We unfortunately had only a short time in Amritsar but meeting Prarit and going on this tour was a highlight.

Prarit was our guide, he’s knowledgeable & enthusiastic about Amritsar. We had an in-depth briefing about some of the key moments & figures in the development of the city & its architecture. The visit to the ashram was particularly of interest. This is a group tour not a private tour.
