De koning Abdullah I-moskee met blauwe koepel, gebouwd in de jaren tachtig door wijlen koning Hussein als een gedenkteken voor zijn grootvader, staat open voor niet-moslimbezoekers. Het schip met een oppervlakte van 1.615 m2 biedt plaats aan 3.000 gelovigen. Het is achthoekig en onderscheidt zich omdat het geen pilaren heeft. De koepel van 35 m in diameter heeft een hoogte van 31 meter. In het midden werd een stralingsbron geplaatst in de vorm van een gouden ster met als hoogtepunt de Negenennegentig Mooiste Namen van Allah rond de nek van de koepel. De hangende kroonluchter van 168 lantaarns bestaat uit drie cirkels met op elke lantaarn het Heilige Koranvers met het woord Allah. Het vruchtbare land wordt uitgedrukt in de vorm van een rode loper gemaakt van een decoratief textiel met terugkerende patronen die bedoeld zijn om aanbidders naar de kiblah te leiden. Alle muren, inclusief de kiblah, de preekstoel en de Mihrab, zijn betimmerd met houten en marmeren erkers.
Jabal al-Qala is een van de zeven bergen van Amman, die de Ammoniërs lang hebben ingenomen als de zetel van hun heerschappij in de stad, gevolgd door Griekenland, de Romeinen en de Byzantijnen die de stad respectievelijk bezetten totdat het werd bezet door de islamitische verovering in de 7e eeuw na Christus, waar het Omajjadenpaleis op de top werd gebouwd. De berg Qalaa in Amman ontpopte zich als de hoofdstad van de Ammoniërs.
Het Romeinse amfitheater is een Romeins theater gelegen in het oostelijke deel van de Jordaanse hoofdstad Amman, precies aan de voet van de berg Jufa op een van de heuvels tegenover het kasteel van Amman. Een Grieks schrift op een van de pilaren geeft aan dat dit amfitheater werd gebouwd ter ere van keizer Antonius Pius, die Amman in 130 na Christus bezocht.

Het museum toont de geschiedenis van 1916 tot de moderne tijd met een breed scala aan zeldzame klassieke auto's en motorfietsen die een geschiedenis hebben met de koninklijke familie. Het museum is uitgerust met elektronische gesproken tekst in het Arabisch, Engels, Spaans, Frans en Duits. Kindervertelling in het Arabisch is ook beschikbaar.

We booked the Amman Private City Tour during our stay in Jordan and it was a great way to explore the capital city in a short time. The tour lasted around 4–5 hours, which was a comfortable length to visit the main highlights of Amman without feeling rushed. We traveled comfortably between different locations and appreciated having a private guide who could explain the history and stories behind each place. The highlight for us was visiting the Amman Citadel, where we enjoyed amazing views over the city and learned more about Jordan’s ancient history. We also enjoyed seeing the Roman Theatre and discovering the contrast between Amman’s historical landmarks and modern neighborhoods. The private format made the experience more flexible. We could spend more time at places we were interested in, take photos, and ask questions along the way. The guide also shared useful recommendations for local food and other places to visit during our stay.
Great way to see the famous sites of the beautiful city of Amman So many ancient archaeological sites to see it was amazing
Worst company ever. The tour is basically is a driver that take you to that sights that you have to pay for, you could hire a taxi to take you around and it would be cheaper. The driver was excellent though, very nice and kind, his English was limited but he tried his best. The company wanted to charge me $100 euros to pick me up at the airport and I had booked this tour to be picked up at the airport, I asked when I booked and they said it was ok, but the wait until the day before to tell it’s a different price, make that make sense when they could have told me when I booked and paid, if they told me it’s a different price viator would send me a long to book the right price, anyways I told the company I could pay $30 that is the avarage for transfers from the airport to the city. The company said no, so I took a taxi from the airport for $20 Jordanian money. I was so disappointed with this company more than the actual tour
so many wrong info in this review, first this tour pickup is from Amman not from airport and it's so clear, and we have other tour start from airport witch have a different price, cuz airport is out of the city, also we didn't asked for extra 100 USD for airport pickup, we told you that the extra charges is 50 USD witch is 35 JD, cuz you was 4 traveler, and require a minivan not car, and the minivan from airport to Amman is 50 JD, but we make a discount, also we informed you if you want to get to Amman and start the tour from there we will not charge any extra, so when you add wrong info make sure that we will reply for that, and regarding the driver, he's expert driver and speak excellent English with permit to driver tourist in the end we don't care for your review because you try to get free airport pickup and when you couldn't, you added this, and we are one of the high rated agency for Amman city tour cuz our service is the best

The half day tour encompassed the Citadel, the Roman Theater, and the King Abdullah Mosque. Driver very nice but essentially a taxi cab.

A great way to see the highlights with limited time. Our driver was really flexible. We were never rushed and had plenty of time to see everything as we wanted. He made certain we got to the entrances and that we knew what we were doing and where he would be waiting, which he was even if we were early. Great local knowledge. Felt really safe. Definitely recommend.
