Op deze dag haalt onze chauffeur/gids u om 5.00 uur op van uw Nairobi hotel/luchthaven. Aankomst in Amboseli rond 8.45 uur. Bekroond door Mount Kilimanjaro, Afrika's hoogste piek, is het Amboseli National Parks een van Kenia's populairste parken. De naam "Amboseli" komt van een Maasai woord dat "zout stof" betekent, en is een van de beste plaatsen in Afrika om grote kuddes olifanten van dichtbij te bekijken. Natuurliefhebbers kunnen hier vijf verschillende habitats verkennen, variërend van de opgedroogde bedding van het Amboselimeer, wetlands met zwavelbronnen, de savanne en bossen. Ze kunnen ook de lokale Maasai-gemeenschap bezoeken die rond het park woont en hun authentieke cultuur ervaren. Je maakt een gamedrive van 8.45 uur tot 12.30 uur wanneer je pauzeert voor de lunch in de Serena-lodge of je hebt misschien een picknicklunch meegenomen om van te genieten op de Observation hill. Daarna heb je een gamedrive onderweg als je van plan bent om het park te verlaten, vertrekkend naar Nairobi met geschatte aankomsttijd rond 18.45 uur

I did a private day tour to Amboseli Park, starting from Nairobi. My tourguide picked me up on time and was very professional. Amazing trip with Mr.Peter, we have quite nice day, hope that we can come to see you soon. We saw so many animals included cheetah,Lion,Gnu, elephant, hippo, giraffes and others.
Peter was the best tour guide! He gave us a lot of information on Kenya, Nairobi, amboselli, and on the animals we saw. He also tailored the itinerary to our interests, which was to do the game drive as long as possible. We got to see cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, elephants, hippos, water buffalos, wildebeests, and more! This tour is definitely worth doing if you have a day in Nairobi.

The Amboseli Day Tour was absolutely amazing! Even though the weather didn’t cooperate, and I only managed to catch a glimpse of the peak of Mount Kilimanjaro due to the clouds, the experience was still unforgettable. The sight of the mountain’s snow-capped peak just poking through the clouds was stunning, and I can only imagine how breathtaking it would be on a clearer day! The game drive itself was a fantastic adventure. The park’s wildlife didn’t disappoint, and I saw plenty of elephants, zebras, and giraffes in their natural habitat. Despite the cloud cover, the day was still filled with excitement and beauty. One of the highlights was being taken to a Maasai community, where I got an insight into their way of life and traditions. It was an eye-opening experience and a great addition to the tour. Peter’s enthusiasm and insightful commentary made it feel like a truly special day. Overall, this tour was an unforgettable experience, and I’d highly recommend it.

What an amazing experience. I was collected promptly at 4:15 in the morning by Peter and he was really welcoming and instantly made me feel at ease. He's a great guide and looked after us for the whole journey, really knowledgeable and good company. Arrived promptly and we had some excellent encounters with 3 of the big 5. This tour was awesome and well coordinated and organized. At every step I knew what the next step was, great communication. My tour guide Evans was the kindest person I have ever met and he was dedicated to ensuring I have the best experience. From the snacks he provided to checking in to ensure that the tour goes according to my preferences and bucket list to him going the extra mile and sticking with me to ensure that I eventually get to see Kilimanjaro even though it was a cloudy day.
