Verbazingwekkend Luxor: Vallei der Koningen – Tempel van Hatsjepsoet – Kolossen van Memnon

Er zijn verschillende prijsplannen voor deze privétour, afhankelijk van de insluitsels en de ophaalstad. Bezoek de oude necropolis in het Thebaanse gebergte op de Westelijke Jordaanoever van Luxor. Een professionele Engelssprekende gids haalt je op bij je hotel en neemt je mee met privévervoer met airconditioning naar de spectaculaire Vallei der Koningen, waar je afdaalt naar 3 koninklijke graven. Vervolgens bezoekt u de uit de rotsen gehouwen dodentempel van koningin Hatsjepsoet in Deir El Bahari, waar u wordt gewezen op de mooiste muurschilderingen en tijd heeft om zelf rond te dwalen. Voordat je teruggebracht wordt naar je hotel, maken we een stop voor enkele unieke foto's bij de magnifieke Kolossen van Memnon, twee immense beelden die de voortdurende opgraving van het paleis van Amenhotep III bewaken.

We bezoeken het uit de rots gehouwen mortuarium Temple of Hatshepsut. Na de dood van haar man Thoetmosis II nam Hatsjepsoet de heerschappij aan als mede-regent met of zelfverklaarde farao in plaats van Thoetmosis III. Hoe dan ook, ze was een bekwame krijger en een sterke heerser die handelsroutes met het buitenland herstelde. Bewijs van haar successen en prestaties zijn geschreven op de muren van haar herdenkingstempel in Deir El-Bahari.
Je bezoekt de oude necropolis van het oude Thebe op de westoever van Luxor. We nemen je mee naar de spectaculaire Vallei der Koningen, waar tot nu toe 63 graven werden gevonden variërend van een éénkamercrypte (KV54) tot een tombe met 120 kamers (KV5). Je zult in staat zijn om 3 tombes te bezoeken met het toegangsticket. De graven van Tutankhamen en Seti I vereisen afzonderlijke kaartjes (niet inbegrepen).
Om de reis af te sluiten, stoppen we aan de voet van de magnifieke Colossi van Memnon, twee immense standbeelden die de voortdurende opgraving van het paleis van Amenophis III bewaken. De beelden zijn feitelijk gelijkenissen met Pharaoh Amenophis III. Memnon was een held van de Trojaanse oorlogen, waarvan wordt gezegd dat het de zoon is van Eos, Goddess of Dawn. Vanwege een aardbeving in 27 v.Chr., Werd één van de standbeelden beschadigd en als gevolg van natuurkrachten werd gezegd dat hij 'bij het ochtendgloren' 'fluitte' of 'zong'.

Organised through the fantastic Aracan Eataby hotel where we stayed, who tailored a day in the West Bank to the places we wanted to see which included the wonderful Habu temple. Our guide Ramez was very knowledgeable giving us information before allowing us to wander and take photos ourselves at each place. Transport was good, always ready to ferry us from place to place with the day starting at 10am and finishing at 4.30pm door to door. Tour price did not include tickets for Valley of Kings, Hatshupset and Habu temples and whilst not cheap for our family of 4 as a private group, I'd consider it worth the money for overall a great experience.

Aracan eatable hotel is safe and clean. Best view Nile side rooms to King Valley and Air hot ballons. Employees are polite and helpful. I would like to thank Mr. Hassan who arrange our privet tour and transportation even for Airport such a acknowledge man. Thank you for having us.

I stayed in luxor for 2 days and we visited luxor temple, karnak temple , valley of kings etc .which was phenomenal. I loved every bit of it. Ahmad was very welcoming and a nice person

We had a wonderful time with our guide Ramez. He's incredibly knowledgeable regarding the history of Luxor and all its monuments. He was very flexible with us and answered all of our questions regarding the tour. His English is excellent and we found out he speaks Italian as well! Overall, we would definitely do the tour again with Ramez.

I only had one day in Luxor, but I wanted to see as much of it as I could while there. EgBride Travel and my guide Smiley (and driver Mohamed) made this possible for me. I did this tour, then Karnak and Luxor Temple, and the sound and light show at Karnak to finish. The Valley of the Kings was incredible, and it made it much more manageable and streamlined to have Smiley as my guide through it. The tombs are so well preserved and highlight the magnificence of pharaonic Egypt’s art work and craftsmanship in devotion to their rulers and gods. Walking up to Hatshepsut Temple, with the mountain of rock behind it, and the city of Luxor in front, was a remarkable experience. Smiley again helped bring the temple to life with his knowledge and care to point out important details. The Colossi of Memnon were huge impressive monuments and a testament to ancient Egyptian builders. My favorite part of this final part of the tour was the tasty lunch at a restaurant very close by to the statues.

After booking, we received several messages via Whatsapp welcoming us and advising us of pick up details. We were met in our hotel reception on time by Smiley, our guide. We were then taken to the car outside where we met our driver. Smiley was incredible, so knowledgeable, so friendly, so helpful and informative. He could not have been a better guide to the Valley of the Kings. Any question we asked he answered and nothing was too much trouble. We felt very comfortable with him and the driver at all times and could not have wished for a better visit to this incredible place. We were so satisfied with Smiley and the driver that we booked them to take us to Karnak Temple a few days later where we received the same level of service. We would not hesitate in recommending this company and especially Smiley as your guide. I doubt you will find a better guide in all of Egypt to take you around these sites. When we return next year we will again ask for him to take us to some more places.
