Je ziet het beroemde Aktau-gebergte – veelkleurige gelaagde rotsen die doen denken aan Marslandschappen. Dit is de perfecte plek voor wandelingen en fotoshoots, waar elke bocht nieuwe, fantastische uitzichten onthult.
De route brengt u vervolgens naar het ruige en pittoreske Katutau-gebergte – oude vulkanische formaties met bizarre vormen, ravijnen en lavastructuren. Hier voel je echt de kracht van de natuur en volledige eenzaamheid.
Een hoogtepunt van de route is de legendarische Singing Dune. Deze enorme zandduin zendt een laag zoemend geluid uit in de wind, waardoor een "lied" effect ontstaat. De klim naar de duin en het panoramische uitzicht op de steppen en bergen zijn een van de hoogtepunten van de tour.

DO NOT BOOK this tour. The trip was very expensive and yet the quide was drinking alkoholic beer at 6 am, he did not speek a WORD in english (tour was marked as in english), he was making stops every 20 minutes to smoke a ciggarete, he was playing on his phone all the time, swearing, didnt say even what the agenda is etc. Then the car broke down in the middle of the desart and we were waiting 3h for a new one which was too small for our group and didnt have air con. We spent whole day alone as the man which supposted to be a quide dissapered. We reached out the agendy a few times during the day but no help, no recompencation was provided (eg free lunch). Due to stops and car we have very little time to see attractions. The worst experience ever. There are other profesional agencies with sober quide providing water, proper car and english skills so go look for that
Traveled in many countries and booked a lot of trips - never before experienced such a bad service. Just save your money, time and do not book with this company. 1. Guide did not know English, zero information or explanation about the tour where we go, what we are doing - nothing. On top he was drinking beer! Stopping for cigarettes with driver w/o information why we stop so many times. Pictures attached. 2. Bad car - on website, they have modern cars, AC. We got old car that due to irresponsibility of the driver that was driving too fast, got broken down. Pictures attached. 3. Lost time - bad communication with agency. They knew where we are. Instead to inform us properly what solution they have, they gave us number to some other random guide that was asking questions we already provided information for. We were alone with broken car and guide that did not know English. 4. Replacement car for Aktau - old, w/o AC after almost 3 hours. My friend was feeling really bad and nauseous after. 5. Rushing to last location- singing dune as it was closing. So, we did not eat anything since morning. Had dinner after 19. 6. Poor information - we paid a lot of money. They were not able to provide information a day before what time we should be ready despite the trip was planned for very early morning. Guide calling us at 3:40 where we live that he will pick us up. Seems this was last minute organisation and they took some random people for our guide and driver. 7. A day before we went for a trip for 20% for what we paid for this trip. Guide was knowledgeable, was taking care of us informing if we need to buy water as later will be nothing, going to attractions with us. He had water in his car for us to take anytime we needed, even complementary chocolate to give us for energy. Here we were left alone. If we would have need transport, we would book one. But, we booked GUIDED TOUR to have someone to take care of us. Some random guide was helping us at Aktau mountain how to navigate there, as we were left alone! This was our last day in Kazachstan - looked forward to this trip, and paid a lot for it. It was huge disappointment.
