De excursie begint met een bezoek aan Siena, de stad van de Palio Horse Race. Hier geven onze officiële gidsen u een voorproefje van de beste monumenten en gebouwen van Siena.

Verken het historische centrum van Siena, een UNESCO-werelderfgoedlocatie, met het unieke Piazza del Campo, Palazzo Pubblico en Torre del Mangia.
Dwaal door de schilderachtige straatjes en steegjes van Siena, vol architectonische en artistieke pareltjes. Bewonder de opvallende kathedraal van Siena, een must-visit monument in deze middeleeuwse stad.
Na de lunch gaat de tour verder met een bezoek aan San Gimignano, de prachtige middeleeuwse stad die op de werelderfgoedlijst van UNESCO staat. Haal hier het meeste uit uw vrije tijd, bezoek Piazza della Cisterna, Piazza del Duomo, probeer de wereldberoemde Gelato en maak prachtige foto's op de middeleeuwse wegen met een uniek landschap.
Geniet van het pittoreske Toscaanse platteland, drink Vernaccia, een uitstekende lokale witte wijn, en geniet van het prachtige heuvellandschap.
Na wat vrije tijd bezoekt u een wijnmakerij halverwege tussen Siena en San Gimignano. Breng uw lunchtijd door in een wijnmakerij-restaurant, waar we zullen genieten van een wijnproeverij van gerenommeerde lokale wijnen. De lunch bestaat uit typische producten: Voorgerecht met bruschetta, salami en verse kaas, als voorgerecht tagliatelle met ragùsaus (op verzoek met tomaat) en als afsluiting een typisch dessert (inclusief wijn en water).
Vervolgens volgen we de panoramische wegen van de Chianti-regio en komen we bij Pisa en het prachtige Piazza dei Miracoli, waar u de doopkapel, de kathedraal en natuurlijk de beroemde scheve toren kunt bewonderen.

This is a great tour if you want to check several items off in a day. The only criticism we would give is we found we lost the walking tour because we were slow! The wine tasting and lunch was exquisite!
Great tour. We saw so much in one day. Be prepared for A LOT of walking. Also, be aware that you MUST be on time to the meeting points to leave or they WILL leave you. The tour guides are very kind, and very explicit with their instructions. They do, however have over 60 people they’re responsible for, and a timed itinerary, so you have to be responsible and aware of the time yourself.
A Viator guide was not at the meeting spot (again on this trip). My name was given to another tour company which I appreciate, however is was for Spanish speaking tourists. There was no walking tour in Siena as listed and we were listed as “no lunch” which we paid for and promised. Luckily for us people understood our dilemmas and helped rectify situations which never should have had to happen. I would recommend the tour but I don’t trust using Viator anymore . Our Pantheon tour guide was also a no show earlier in the week.

The tour is according the description: exhausting. The travel between CITIES is long so the time to visit each city is short. Many stairs and upheld. So be prepared and in good physical condition. The bus was not waiting us in one of stops and delayed 15 minutes. The lunch in the restaurant was poor. The guides very well.

This tour was the perfect way to explore the best of Tuscany in just one day! San Gimignano was beautiful with its medieval towers, Siena had such rich history and charm, and seeing the Leaning Tower of Pisa in person was amazing. The guide was excellent—very knowledgeable, organized, and friendly. The timing was well-planned, with enough free time in each location to explore, take photos, and enjoy the atmosphere. The drive through the Tuscan countryside was stunning as well. I highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants a well-rounded, enjoyable, and stress-free day trip from Florence!
This Tuscany tour was an absolute highlight of our trip! We loved exploring Siena with our guide, it’s such a beautiful city with incredible history and architecture. Lunch at the winery was delicious, with amazing pasta, local meats, and wine that hit the spot. San Gimignano felt like stepping back in time, and seeing the Leaning Tower in Pisa was the perfect way to end the day. The whole experience was seamless and relaxing, with just the right mix of guided time and freedom to explore.
