Uw tour begint met een pick-up van uw hotel of een locatie in Jaipur. Onze vriendelijke chauffeur zal u ontmoeten en helpen met uw koffers. Begin vervolgens uw reis van Jaipur naar Agra in een comfortabele auto met airconditioning. Geniet van de rit door het Indiase platteland. Uw chauffeur zorgt voor een veilige en aangename reis. De rit duurt ongeveer vier uur. Je kunt op elk moment stoppen voor thee, snacks of een toiletpauze.
Wanneer u Agra bereikt, ontmoet u uw lokale Gids. De Gids neemt je mee naar alle bekende plekken en deelt interessante verhalen over elk monument.
Je eerste stop is de prachtige Taj Mahal, een van de zeven wereldwonderen. Het werd gebouwd door keizer Shah Jahan voor zijn vrouw, Mumtaz Mahal. Uw Gids vertelt u over de geschiedenis en helpt u geweldige foto's te maken van dit geweldige witte marmeren gebouw.
Na een bezoek aan de Taj Mahal kunt u genieten van een heerlijke lunchbuffet in een 5-sterrenhotel in Agra. U kunt verschillende Indiase en internationale gerechten proeven in een ontspannen en schone sfeer.
Bezoek vervolgens het grote Agra Fort, een UNESCO Werelderfgoed. Wandel door de rode zandstenen muren, paleizen en binnenplaatsen terwijl je Gids je vertelt hoe Mughal-keizers hier lang geleden leefden.
Tenslotte bezoekt u het graf van Itimad-ud-Daulah, ook bekend als de Baby Taj. Het is een klein maar zeer mooi monument gemaakt van marmer en edelstenen. Het werd gebouwd vóór de Taj Mahal en ziet eruit als een model van it.Best plek om Taj Mahal te bekijken. Hij knapte het vervolgens op met een achthoekig zwembad, witte loopbruggen, paviljoens, fonteinen, fruitbomen en bloemen. Het kreeg de naam Moonlight Garden omdat het meestal werd gebruikt in de koelte van de nacht toen het maanlicht scheen op Taj Mahal, zodat je de reflectie in het zwembad en de rivier kon zien.
Na het bekijken van bezienswaardigheden ontspant u in uw auto terwijl uw chauffeur u terugbrengt naar Jaipur. U komt 's avonds aan in uw hotel met prachtige herinneringen aan Agra en de Taj Mahal.

I went with Nekram for a whole day for this trip. He speaks French very well and provided me with a lot of really enriching historical details. He speaks English just as well; if you are worried about the language barrier, I think you can go for it with your eyes closed. He assisted me in taking magnificent photos, and I am truly very grateful to him for that. I recommend it 100% as a solo French traveler.

Imran was a good guide for the Taj Mahal, but I wish the tour had stopped there. First of all, we weren’t given instructions on how to find/contact our driver in the morning. At the Taj Mahal we were kind of pressured into buying professional photos (whole photo shoot kind of thing). After that we were not taken to the buffet but instead to an art shop where we were subjected to high pressure sales pitches. The Agra Fort was fine, not all that interesting. Then we were taken to a restaurant where we had to pay for our meal rather than it being included. Finally, we didn’t even go to Itmad-ud-Daula. We were taken to another art place and we just refused to even listen to the salesman. After all that, Imran had the audacity to ask us for a bigger tip. Frankly, I’m very annoyed and hesitant to do any other guided tours in India after this.

My family and I travelled independently in India, however a it was recommended to us to have a guide to visit tge Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. As such, Muhumand joined our tour and guided us through the rather complex entry requirements for both monuments. Once inside, he was knowledgeable and very engaging in his descriptions of Mughal life and the dramatic back stories. He was relaxed and was attentive to our needs. We enjoyed his company, and he added great value to our Agra visit. I don't think we would have seen everything we wanted to see without him. An excellent outcome for our family tour.
