Begin aan een reis als geen ander. Deze tour neemt gasten mee op een geweldige reis van Key West naar een afgelegen zandbank en vervolgens naar de dolfijnenspeeltuin in het Florida Marine Sanctuary om dolfijnen te spotten. Met een schilderachtig uitzicht op de Golf van Mexico en deskundige gidsen die inzicht geven in de geschiedenis en ecologie van het gebied, kunnen gasten ontspannen op de zandbank terwijl onze bemanning uw kopjes vult met onbeperkt bier, wijn en mimosa's van de tap. Vervolgens wagen we ons in de toekomst in het Sanctuary om dichter dan ooit bij onze dolfijnpods te komen. De tour is inclusief gratis lunch (menu hieronder) en onbeperkt bier van de tap, mimosa's en wijn. Onze professionele bemanning zal dit een reis van je leven maken die je nog jaren zult koesteren. Deze reis is een unieke en opwindende ervaring die gasten meeneemt op avontuur in het zeereservaat van Florida. Het heiligdom is een beschermd gebied van de oceaan waar een breed scala aan zeeleven leeft, waaronder dolfijnen, zeeschildpadden en verschillende vissoorten. Het hoogtepunt van deze reis is een bezoek aan een afgelegen zandbank, waar gasten kunnen genieten van een afgelegen en vredige ervaring. Jewfish Basin is een unieke en opwindende ervaring waarmee bezoekers een van de mooiste natuurgebieden van Florida kunnen verkennen. Jewfish Basin is een ondiepe en beschermde baai in de Florida Keys, bekend om zijn kristalheldere water, prachtige zonsondergangen en overvloedig zeeleven. Wanneer bezoekers stoppen bij een zandbank tijdens een rondleiding door het Jewfish Basin, stappen ze van de boot op een ondiep stuk zand dat wordt omgeven door helderblauw water.

This was a fantastic adventure! We had a great crew- captain Madison was wonderful! Took the time to make sure everyone was having a great time, felt safe and welcomed - the service was fantastic- always had food and drink whenever we wanted! They were extremely knowledgeable in the area and the sea life. Highly recommend to anyone.

We had the best day ever. everything about it was perfect. The crew Maddison, sydney & emily were the best and worked very hard - theres a lot to be said about an all female crew! The girls never stopped and certainly made our experience the best. If I could choose this crew again I would go with them everytime. Well done ladies you were amazing.

My family and I were really looking forward to this excursion, which makes the experience even more disappointing. Before the excursion, I specifically messaged the company and explained that we were arriving on a cruise ship. I asked whether we would have enough time to get off the ship and make it to the excursion, and I was assured that we would. We made it a priority to get off the ship as quickly as possible and were actually among the first passengers off. We immediately headed to the meeting location, only to find out that the excursion had already left without us. What bothers me most is that I feel like I was intentionally misled. The company knew we were cruise passengers, knew what time our ship was scheduled to dock, and still told me we would have no problem making it. Had they been upfront and told me the timing was too close, I never would have booked it. I requested a refund since we never even had the opportunity to participate, but they refused and told me I was outside their cancellation policy. This wasn’t a situation where we simply changed our minds or showed up late because of something we did. We relied on the information the company gave us before booking. If the company knows what time cruise ships dock and knows passengers cannot realistically make the excursion on time, then I don’t understand why they offer or recommend this excursion to cruise passengers in the first place. We lost our money and, more importantly, missed an experience that my family had genuinely been excited about. I would strongly recommend that other cruise passengers get the meeting time and the company’s assurance in writing before booking, because our experience was extremely disappointing.
We’re sorry to hear that this guest was disappointed, but we would like to clarify what was communicated and how we handle cruise ship guests. This is not how we work or communicate with our guests, and we want to make sure future customers have accurate information when planning their excursions. The guest contacted us to ask about shuttle services, the best way to reach our location from the cruise port, and whether the boat would wait for them. Our team responded: “We do not offer shuttle services for our sandbar trips. The cruise port is only about a 7–10-minute walk. Captain does not wait for anyone; guests need to be checked in before boarding time. Boarding will not start until 10:45am.” At no point did we promise that the boat would wait or assure the guest that they would definitely make the excursion. In fact, we specifically explained that the captain does not wait for guests and that they must be checked in before boarding. Guests arriving by cruise ship are responsible for allowing enough time between their ship’s arrival, disembarkation, and their excursion reservation. We always do our best to provide estimated walking times, boarding information, and other details to help guests plan accordingly. We also understand that this reservation was made through a third-party booking platform, whose 24-hour cancellation policy applied to the reservation. Since the guest did not arrive for the scheduled excursion, it was considered a no-show and fell outside the applicable cancellation window. We’re always happy to answer questions and help guests plan their arrival, but we cannot guarantee that a vessel will wait for passengers who have not checked in by the required boarding time. We hope this clarification helps future cruise passengers plan their excursions with confidence and avoid any misunderstanding about arrival and boarding requirements.

This sandbar experience was the most fun we’ve had on our honeymoon! The team was so friendly, engaging, and made the whole experience even better. The boat ride was smooth, and they played great music the entire time. We didn’t see much sea life while snorkeling and only got to see a few dolphins on the way back, which was still really cool! The experience was on the pricier side, and while we enjoyed the open bar, we felt the food selection could have been better for the overall cost. We also felt there was quite a bit of emphasis on tipping the staff throughout the experience, which was something to keep in mind. The amount of time at the sandbar was perfect, although the ride back seemed to drag a little. There were about 65 people on our trip, which felt like a lot. If you’re considering this for your honeymoon, just keep in mind that there were tons of kids, so it may not be the best choice if you’re looking for a more adults-only or romantic atmosphere. Overall, we had a blast and thought the crew, music, and sandbar experience made for such a fun day on the water!

The Sandbar Cruise was great! Cpt. Madison, Emily, and Sydney were the best team. They were knowledgeable, transparent, and attentive. Everything was well organized, the team clearly crew what they were doing and cared about making it an enjoyable experience. 10/10
