Vroege ochtend Pick-up van het hotel en transfer naar de luchthaven Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen voor de ochtendvlucht naar Izmir.
Aankomst op Izmir luchthaven. Ontmoet door je gids met je naambord en rijd naar Efeze (45 minuten rijden)
Ga verder naar Efeze, loop door de geschiedenis langs marmeren straten met prachtige openbare gebouwen, waaronder de staat Agora, Odeon, Memnius Monument, de tempel van Domitianus, Polio-fontein, Curetes-straat, de Trajan-fontein, de baden van Scholastica, Hadrian-tempel , Latrina, Celcus Library, de poort van Mihridates en Mazues, Commercial Agora en The Grand Theatre zijn twee van de meest indrukwekkende gebouwen in Efeze. Grand Theatre werd gebouwd in de 3e eeuw voor Christus en werd later uitgebreid tot 24.000 toeschouwers door de Romeinen in de 1e eeuw na Christus. Na Efeze wordt de lunch geserveerd in de tuin van een lokaal handwerkcentrum. Hier kunt u enkele van de traditionele tapijtweeftechnieken zien die worden gebruikt en genieten van het bekijken van een aantal prachtige displays van prachtige tapijten.
Terrace Houses ligt aan de rand van Pion Mountain. Er zijn 6 wooneenheden die zijn gebouwd op drie kunstmatige terrassen. Deze huizen werden bewoond door rijke burgers van Efeze. Deze huizen waren zeer sjiek versierd met muurfresco's en vloermozaïeken. Er zijn veel trappen om van beneden naar boven te stijgen.
Bezoek na de lunch het huis van de Maagd Maria. Dit huis ligt in het Aladag-gebergte op 8 km van Efeze. Op het derde oecumenische concilie van 431 in Efeze werd beweerd dat Maria in 37 na Christus met Johannes naar Efeze kwam en daar tot haar dood in 48 na Christus woonde. Na de ontdekking van het huis verklaarde de aartsbisschop van Izmir het tot een plaats van bedevaart in 1892. Op 26 juli 1967 bezocht paus Paulus VI deze plaats en bad hier.
Rijd naar de Sint-Jansbasiliek, er wordt aangenomen dat de evangelist Sint-Jan zijn laatste jaren in de regio rond Efeze had doorgebracht en begraven was op de zuidelijke helling van de Ayosolug-heuvel
bezoek de Artemis-tempel, waar een van de zeven wonderen van de oude wereld is, voordat je naar de luchthaven van Izmir rijdt voor onze vlucht naar Istanbul
na 1 uur en 20 minuten vliegen, aankomst in Istanbul. opgehaald door onze vertegenwoordiger en transfer naar het hotel

The tour was beyond amazing. Everything was coordinated perfectly. They picked us up in Istanbul, took us to the airport, picked us up at Izmir airport and took us to the different beautiful sites. Even if it was a full day, it never felt rush. The lunch was amazing and Tezcan was one of the best tour guides we have had. After the tour, we were taken to the airport, took the plane back to Istanbul and we were picked up at the airport and taken to the hotel. If you are looking for making this tour, choose it!

The ancient city of Ephesus is huge, so set aside an entire day for your tour. The history and the ruins were so fascinating and our tour guide, Selda Akyigit was so knowledgeable, kind, and personable. Our flight from Istanbul to Izmir was delayed (this is not the operator’s fault). We were worried we’d miss much of the tour, but our guide Secil (may be misspelling that) was able to go through the whole itinerary by shuffling things around. Our driver knew what to do and to get us there quickly. Water was always replenished. The lunch was great. It occurs at an area where they teach carpet weaving. We were able to see how they weave carpet and they showed us some carpets for sale. We didn’t feel the pressure to buy their product. Overall, a great experience. The company’s support was great from the beginning, all the way from booking our flights to giving us the information of who’s picking us up from the airport and driving us back to our hotel.

Walking in ancient Ephesus as our guide told us the connections between biblical passages and the places we were standing; seeing the skilled artisanship, the care of the archaeologists, and all that's still there to discover was literally jaw-dropping. Our guide's care for our health and safety (hot and slippery footing) was stellar, and his obvious reverence for this place and all of Turkey made us want to come back!

Even though our flight was delayed from Istanbul…the tour director & guide were helpful & full of solutions. We were still able to fit the entire tour in & the guide was extremely knowledgeable.
