• Je ontdekt de ziel van de stad tijdens deze 4 uur durende algemene sightseeingtour. • De gids neemt je mee naar de beroemdste bezienswaardigheden van Boedapest, van het Heldenplein tot de Burchtwijk van Boeda. U hoort interessante feiten en verhalen over de Hongaarse hoofdstad, haar geschiedenis en cultuur.

Bewonder de Millennium Subway (Budapest metrolijn 1, gebouwd in 1896) met zijn originele stations. Terwijl u de metro neemt, ziet u de elegante Andrassy Avenue, de 2 mijl lange historische doorgang van de stad.
Loop over het indrukwekkende Heldenplein, het grootste plein van Boedapest. In het midden van het plein vind je het Millennium Monument, terwijl je aan de twee kanten de Arts Hall en het Fine Arts Museum ziet.
Bezoek het Millenniummonument, ter herdenking van 1000 jaar Hongaarse geschiedenis. Voor het monument vind je het graf van de onbekende helden, terwijl je in de zuilengalerijen rondom de beelden van de grootste koningen en leiders van het land kunt bewonderen.
Verken het stadspark van Boedapest, het oudste openbare park ter wereld. Loop over een brug om een eiland in het meer te bereiken, de thuisbasis van het romantische Vajdahunyad-kasteel. Rondom de binnenplaats staan kopieën van gebouwen die verschillende perioden en stijlen van Hongaarse architectuur vertegenwoordigen.
Op de binnenplaats van het kasteel ontdekt u het interessante standbeeld van Anonymus, de eerste geschiedenisschrijver van Hongarije die in de 12e eeuw leefde.
U passeert het hoofdgebouw van de beroemde Szechenyi-baden, het grootste thermale bad van Europa. Door de ramen kunt u de buitenzwembaden zien en mensen die in het warme water zwemmen.
We nemen de openbare bus naar het kasteel van Buda, waar we het panoramische terras van het Koninklijk Paleis met het mooiste uitzicht over de stad zullen verkennen.
Bekijk een prachtige fontein gemaakt in de 19e eeuw.
Daarna gaan we van het kasteel van Buda naar het paleis van de president met de bewakers in historische uniformen.
Als volgende stop op de tour krijgt u de kans om een van de mooiste en meest fascinerende plekken in Boedapest te bewonderen, het Vissersbastion met het beroemde panorama over de rivier de Donau en het Hongaarse parlementsgebouw.
We wandelen rond de prachtige Matthiaskerk, gebouwd in de middeleeuwen in gotische stijl. (Een kort bezoek binnen is ook mogelijk op aanvraag, maar hiervoor is een toegangsbewijs nodig dat 5 EUR / persoon kost, apart te betalen.)
De iconische brug wordt momenteel gerenoveerd (van 2021 tot 2022), dus in plaats van erop te lopen, zullen we het openbaar vervoer moeten gebruiken om bij het kasteel van Buda te komen.
Als optie kunnen we de tour beëindigen in Pest Downtown voor de Sint-Stefanusbasiliek, gebouwd ter nagedachtenis aan de eerste Hongaarse koning (gestorven in 1038). Na de rondleiding krijgt u de kans om de kerk op eigen gelegenheid te bezoeken.

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
Als u opgehaald wilt worden bij uw hotel of accommodatie, staat de gids bij de receptie van het hotel of voor het accommodatieadres. Anders bevindt de gids zich op het standaard vertrekpunt. Afzetten bij uw hotel is ook mogelijk als u dat wenst. Het ophalen en inleveren van het hotel is met het openbaar vervoer of met de auto, afhankelijk van de geselecteerde touroptie. Voor deze service worden geen extra kosten in rekening gebracht.

A great way to see the highlights of Budapest. We were traveling with grandparents, and the weather was very hot, so it was wonderful to be picked up from our hotel, driven from sight to sight, and then dropped off back at the hotel. Diana was an excellent tour guide - knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging. I would definitely recommend this service. It was a very efficient and enjoyable four hours.
Katalin did an incredible job. She was very knowledgeable and personable. She shared a lot of information with us which was awesome since it was our first time in Budapest. I would highly recommend her!

Our tour guide, Noemi, was absolutely wonderful. She tailored our tour to our interests following a discussion of possibilities. We did two half-day tours which were outstanding. We traveled by foot, tram and metro. Noemi is such a a kind, personable and engaging guide with an indepth knowledge of Budapest and European history. She was able to answer our many questions, and we learned so much from her. She is very prepared with photos as well as other visual aids including videos. I highly recommend Noemi and Angel tours.
Fantastic personalized tour with excellent guide Dalia. There is a lot to see and do in Budapest! Dalia ahowed us things we would have never noticed on our own.
We only had a few days in Budapest and this turned out to be a great way to see the highlights. Our guide, Noemi, was excellent and incredibly well-versed in the history, architecture, and culture of Hungary and the city itself. She was very attentive to our needs and sensitive to when we wanted to move on to the next place or linger a bit to dive deeper. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone short on time, but interested in learning and seeing a lot. We certainly would not have gotten close to the same experience with a guidebook and Wikipedia entries.
The viewing with Ms. Dalia in Pest as well as the viewing with Mr. Adam in Buda were just great. The city guides are very friendly, know the city well, Historical / Architectural at top level, give you good tips in general what else to see in the city or recommendations about attractions as well as restaurants and are available for fun at all times. Absolutely recommended if you want to do a Budapest city tour to get to know the city more intensively!
A great start to our visit to Budapest - Adam our guide had clearly carried out a lot of research on this subject and was able to communicate his love for the history of his country. We learned a lot more about Hungary's past and present over and above the 1956 Revolution. By the end of the tour we felt that we understood the country a lot better, and the tour felt more like a stroll with a knowledgeable friend. His own family's involvement in the Revolution brought an extra personal element. Thank you Adam.
Myself and 22 other folks from N.Ireland were 'guided' by Noemi Bodiss, she arrived at our hotel punctually and was extremely helpful in the Metro regarding buying tickets i.e. best value etc. Noemi is obviously passionate about her job and took us at our pace through most of the main tourist attractions. One small criticism and I emphasise small would be that her P.A. system which she wore around her neck could have been more efficient and was, depending on where we were, difficult to hear her - this,slightly diminished our enjoyment
We took a guided tour with Noémi over half a day. She speaks very good French and has been able to interest our children of 9 and 7 years by offering them small games (search for certain animals in monuments etc.). She was also a great help when we were looking for a solution for airport transport.
