Neem deel aan een intieme wijntour langs twee lokale wijngaarden / boerderijen en hun kelders, begeleid door een wijn Expert en leer over het hele proces van wijnmaken, van de wijngaard tot de bootle. Geniet van het proeven van drie soorten wijn bij elke wijngaard, terwijl u meer leert over wijnsmaken en hoe u beter kunt degusteren. Stijg vervolgens naar de hoogste top van de Algarve regio in het zuiden van Portugal. Geniet van een lunch of diner met uitzicht op de zonsondergang aan de kust in een restaurant op de bergtop met enkele van de beste Portugese specialiteiten en een panoramisch uitzicht over de Algarve.

Gelegen aan de noordgrens van Portimão en Alvor. Met de grote berg van Monchique, die het uitzicht domineert als we bij de wijngaarden zijn, heeft dit grote pand ook teeltgebieden van kurkbomen, tarwevelden en sinaasappelbomen. In de familie sinds 1865 en producenten van druiven uit een lange tijd, deze boerderij bouwde hun moderne wijnmakerij in 1999 en waren de eerste productie van gecertificeerde oorsprongsbenaming wijnen in de Algarve. In de esplanade, bij de winkel of bij de eiken vaten is de traditie van dit familielandgoed zichtbaar.
Gelegen ten noorden Portimão, al op Silves provincie. Het is een exclusieve wijnboerderij productie, degene die het meest noordelijk in de regio ligt, direct aan het begin van het Monchique gebergte. Eigendom van een Portugees - Frans echtpaar dat elkaar ontmoette in Bordeaux, waar hij geboren en opgegroeid is surroundend door de invloed van wijn. Ze verhuisden in het begin van de eeuw naar de regio om dit project vanaf nul te starten. Op de hellingen van Odelouca River Vlley plantten ze hun wijngaard en bouwden ze hun kleine maar goed uitgeruste wijnmakerij, die ook een proeflokaal, vatenkamer en laboratorium herbergt.

This tour is a must! From start to finish, Fabio was so friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating for me and our group. The wineries were beautiful and the wine was very good! The scenery along the way was amazing. The lunch at the top of the mountain was quite an experience! Would def recommend!

Our guide Fabio was very informative before the trip answering my queries promptly . On the the day he was very knowledgeable about the wine making process, Both wineries were quite different from each other . Fabio was helpful, knowledgeable, and comfortable to be around throughout the day. The van is also comfortable and air conditioned. We both get carsick and had no issues even going up and down the mountain. There were two of us, so we did one premium tasting and one regular tasting at each Quinta, which was a fun way to try more of the wines. Driving up to Monchique was very beautiful, and you get to see the cork forest on the way up. We went to O Luar da Foia, where we both tried black pork. This is a LARGE amount of food, so go hungry, because it is delicious! Overall, this was a wonderful experience. Fabio is very patient and personable, and answered all of our questions. The wine and food were delicious. Fabio’s recommendations were great. Don’t skip this!

This is an intimate wine tasting and learning experience that Fabio has curated. We learned so much about the history of Algarve wine production through modern day, and simply relaxed and enjoyed the beauty of the mountains and welcoming spirit of the residents in this region.
