Very professional team would definitely recommend them if you want to try a skydive.
My wife and I chose Skydive Seven for our first ever skydive as part of our honeymoon in the Algarve, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, the whole place had a really friendly and easy-going atmosphere. The instructors were professional but also great fun and had plenty of good banter, which did a lot to settle any nerves. They also encouraged a really sociable atmosphere between everyone on our load, so we were chatting, joking and sharing the excitement with our fellow jumpers rather than everyone just waiting around nervously for their turn. It made the whole experience feel like something we were all doing together. The best way I could describe the overall vibe is fun, relaxed and easy-going, while still being very serious about the things that matter. Before the jump we were given a clear safety briefing covering what to expect, what we needed to do during the jump and the landing procedure. Everything was explained simply and confidently, and we always felt like we knew what was happening. Skydive Seven also provided flight suits for the jump and secure lockers where we could leave our belongings, which was particularly useful as we'd needed to bring ID with us to access the airfield. Everything felt well organised without ever feeling overly formal or stressful. For my fellow glasses wearers: not a concern at all. They provided larger protective glasses that fit over my prescription pair so I could enjoy the experience without being as blind as a bat! We did the 15,000 ft tandem jump and it was absolutely incredible. The views over the Algarve coastline during the climb were spectacular, and the freefall itself was an experience neither of us will forget, the adrenaline rush was unbelievable! You then get to enjoy the views as far as the eye can see when the canopy opens, as you relax a bit and soak in what you've just done! You get a nice certificate after you land as a keepsake, and the staff are very prompt in sending out your photos and video via your email. We had ours by the time we'd gotten back to the hotel! We also chose the photo and video package with both the instructor's handicam (which they give to you when the parachute opens!) and a separate camera flyer for the freefall, and we're really glad we did. Having another skydiver alongside us during the freefall made for some fantastic photos and videos and was absolutely worth adding to the experience, especially if its a first time. For anyone visiting the Algarve and considering their first skydive, we'd have absolutely no hesitation recommending Skydive Seven. The combination of professionalism, safety, brilliant instructors, good banter and a genuinely fun and sociable atmosphere made it a fantastic part of our honeymoon. We both came away absolutely buzzing (still are several weeks later) and would happily do it all over again!
I am very happy with the experience; I went on my birthday and the treatment was very good, with the instructors always telling you every step you have to take, and since it was my birthday, I did a backflip; it was incredible to see everything from above.

I would have never booked with Skydive Seven Algarve had I read their one and two star reviews responses beforehand. The way Skydive Seven Algarve treated me personally felt vindictive and targeted, with their attitude through WhatsApp changed for the worst after I paid a deposit. They also made us wait over 30 min to take us to the shuttle drop off. We arrived at the stop after 19:00, after the stated itinerary time of 18:30. A construction worker at the airport also followed me outside and asked me twice if I was traveling alone, when waiting for departure flight from LIS to Algarve. Throughout the day, I wasn't given any direction on where to go nor what to do, was treated rudely by security (who immediately blamed me for missing a pick up on arrival, which was an untrue conclusion they jumped to when that never happened), and overall staff treatment met hostility and carelessness. Any pros experienced did not outweigh the cons. I smiled through my video despite anxiety and employee experience souring what should have been a happy day. Examples: 1. staff member with bleached hair told me my video would be emailed, one hour after I completed paperwork which contained my email address, phone number, and my request to NOT share my videos nor photos. Four hours later, I still hadn't received it. When I sent a WhatsApp message, I was redirected to email them instead. So I then raised the issues with the same woman, in person while waiting for my flight back to Lisbon, and she immediately dismissed me. Only after that interaction do you see a sudden change of heart to send me the video file on WhatsApp. 2. When I asked about the day's schedule over WhatsApp, I received a "wait and see" response. The friendly morning shuttle driver later explained the schedule and told me there was time. Based on that, I was left with the impression that my question could have been answered much more helpfully from the start. 3. My tandem instructor's approach to arranging my glasses resulted in snagging and discomfort with my hair. I told him 3 times I can undo my own type 4a bun so he can access the glasses without snagging and hurting me. My first two requests were ignored, and I ultimately undid and redid it myself within seconds after unnecessary discomfort and embarrassment.
We regret that the system doesn't allow us to rate you. From the no Skydive Seven driver in Lisbon to the all staff in Cascais and locally, everyone noticed your rudeness and complete lack of positive energy; we believe you must not have an easy life. It's a shame but we give you all our love. While we respect your experience, we would like to clarify a few points to provide additional context for future readers. Regarding the delivery of your video, our investigation showed that the email address provided during check-in contained an error. As a result, the file could not be delivered automatically. Once the issue was identified, our team provided an alternative delivery method via WhatsApp so that you could receive your media as quickly as possible. Concerning your communication with our team, our WhatsApp support followed our standard procedures. When a delivery issue is reported, we must first verify the booking details and investigate the cause before providing a solution. Unfortunately, because the incorrect email address was not immediately apparent, this process required additional time. We are also sorry to learn that you felt unsupported during the experience. This does not reflect the feedback we typically receive from our guests. Many of our customers regularly highlight our team's professionalism, friendliness, organization, and ability to make first-time jumpers feel comfortable and safe throughout the experience. Skydiving operations are subject to scheduling adjustments, weather conditions, air traffic coordination, and safety requirements, which can occasionally result in changes to the expected timetable. However, we always strive to keep our guests informed and provide the best possible experience. We appreciate your feedback and will review your comments internally. At the same time, we feel it is important to note that several of the concerns raised relate to circumstances outside the scope of our service or differ from the records and accounts available to our team. Arriving at 9 a.m. for a session scheduled at 10 a.m., we finally only jumped at 1 p.m., which is 3 hours of waiting without any real explanation. To top it all off, another group went before us even though we had been waiting since the morning. Another very disappointing point: if you don't speak Portuguese, don't expect much effort from the staff. They quickly make you understand that it's not their problem, which leaves a particularly unpleasant impression of the service. The jump itself is enjoyable and unfortunately constitutes the only real positive point of the experience. In summary, if you have several hours to waste, the activity remains nice. On the other hand, if you are looking for serious organization, respect for schedules, and a minimum of consideration for customers, I strongly advise you to choose another provider.
Hi Julian Maurel, We are sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations. However, your review contains several inaccuracies that deserve clarification. First, if your expectation was to be assisted exclusively in French throughout the entire experience, choosing a dropzone in Portugal may not have been the most appropriate decision. Your lack of literacy and not having had an education in multiple languages is your own bad luck. Despite that, our team made every effort to accommodate you, and the most important part of the experience, the safety briefing, was provided in French. Our instructors are Portuguese and speak native Portuguese and are very flexible, unlike you who all speak multiple languages: Spanish, French, German, Italian, Chinese, etc. Regarding communication, your instructor spoke with you in English, and at no point did you indicate any difficulty understanding the information provided. In fact, he regrets not having had the opportunity to speak with you directly after the jump to address your concerns in person. As for the operational aspects of the day, nobody was allowed to "cut in line" ahead of you. Furthermore, you did not arrive at 9:00 AM as stated in your review. The schedule experienced an operational delay, a situation that was communicated several times by our colleague Sara. As you know, weather conditions, air traffic restrictions, and operational factors are realities of skydiving and are sometimes beyond our control but all inside our terms and conditions. We fully respect every customer's right to share their opinion. However, we also believe it is important that reviews accurately reflect what actually happened.
