Van Alexandrië naar de Piramides van Gizeh en het Grand Egyptian Museum en terug, in één comfortabele dag, met een gediplomeerde Egyptoloog die de weg en de stenen kent. Uw Gids haalt u op van uw Alexandria hotel of haven met een voertuig met airconditioning. Je reist naar Caïro (ongeveer 3 uur), rechtstreeks naar het plateau van Gizeh. Je staat aan de voet van de Grote Piramide van Khufu, ziet de Sfinx en bezoekt het panoramische uitzichtpunt waar alle drie de Piramides op één lijn staan voor de foto's die mensen inlijsten. Dan verder naar het Grand Egyptian Museum, de gloednieuwe thuisbasis van Toetanchamons complete schatten die voor het eerst in de geschiedenis samen worden getoond. Uw Gids brengt elke galerie tot leven. Lunch is in een lokaal restaurant in Caïro, geen toeristenval. Comfortabele retourrit naar Alexandrië. Tegen de avond terug in uw hotel of haven. Maximaal 16 reizigers per vertrek, met een kleine groep medebezoekers tegen een vriendelijke prijs per persoon. Je gids en manager wachten op je buiten de aanlegplaats van Cruise. Ze houden een bord met je naam vast. Het zal voor u vrij eenvoudig zijn om ze te identificeren. Daarna gaat u naar uw voertuig en begint uw tour. je gids zal niet alleen met je praten over de geschiedenis van het oude Egypte, maar ook over het moderne Egypte, het leven, religie, politiek en alle aspecten van het leven in het land. De reis van de haven van Alexandrië naar Caïro duurt (ongeveer 3 uur).
Na ongeveer 3 uur op de weg vanuit Alexandrië kom je aan op het plateau van Gizeh. Uw Gids loopt u naar de basis van de Grote Piramide van Khufu, legt de bouw en geschiedenis ervan uit en geeft u tijd op het panoramische uitzichtpunt voor duidelijke foto's van alle drie de piramides. Optioneel : ga binnen in de Grote Piramide ($11 USD per persoon), kamelentocht langs de woestijnrug. Daarna door naar de Sfinx, waar uw Gids de geschiedenis en de nieuwste theorieën over zijn ware leeftijd uitlegt.
Je gaat verder naar het Grand Egyptian Museum, het grootste archeologische museum ooit gebouwd. Je Gids leidt je door het torenhoge atrium langs het torenhoge standbeeld van Ramses II, de Grote Trap op en naar de Toetanchamongalerijen waar zijn complete collectie voor het eerst in de geschiedenis samen wordt tentoongesteld. Je ziet het gouden masker, de strijdwagens, de troon en de canopische heiligdommen, allemaal met verhalen verteld door iemand die ze daadwerkelijk bestudeerd heeft.

Our family of four enjoyed an amazing private tour from Alexandria Port to see the Giza Pyramids, sphinx and a felucca ride on the Nile. We also had a fantastic lunch at a restaurant overlooking the pyramids. Our guide Rasha was terrific, her knowledge was exceptional providing us with insight into every aspect of our tour but still giving us time for private rest and to enjoy the sites privately should we want. She ensured we went to the best areas for exceptional viewing and managed our time brilliantly. Our driver was superb he was extremely professional and friendly as maneuvered our very comfortable air conditioned van through traffic and on the highways and we felt safe the whole time. We also has a security officer who travelled with us the entire trip ensuring our safety and security. He was also very friendly and he also arranged for our van to enter the Giza complex rather than having to use the public shuttles. All in all I cannot fault this day tour. If you are in a cruise and want to see the sites of Egypt I wouldn’t hesitate to contact this company. Their correspondence is exceptional with quick and extensive responses. Their payment system is great with a small deposit and final payment on the day plus I even had management phone during the tour to ensure everything was going smooth. A brilliant and Memorial Day. Perfect day. If on a cruise use these guys to make you trip to Cairo as relaxing as possible. No stress and really great day. My wife is a double leg amputee and everything was easy for her. It was just the 3 of us and our guide was outstanding. I was a little disappointed that we didn't eat on our short boat trip on the nile, but at a stationery restaurant located on the Nile. They were 2 different things. Not what I had envisioned. Of course the Pyramids and the Spinx were unimangineable.
Excellent! We arrived in Alexandria by cruise ship. We booked this excursion several weeks prior in lieu of more expensive excursions offered by our cruise line. It was a great decision. We had a private tour with educated guide and skilled driver. Do not try to drive Egypts streets and highways yourself!! A local driver who can maneuver Egypt’s freestyle driving is a must. We applaud Achmed, our driver. We were picked up perfectly on time at 7:00 am and started the 3-hour drive to Cairo. There we had full day touring the amazing museum filled with pyramid relics: tombs, sarcophagus collection, mummies, and ancient statues of kings and gods - some 3000 to 4000 years old and in original condition. And then, there was the boy king, King tut!!!! Our guide, Mohamed, was the best. He studied ancient Egyption history for 5 years before becoming a tour guide plus he has been guiding for 17 years. He made sure we saw the most important points in the vast museum. The Pyramids and Sphinx were mind-boggling! Simply astounding! This is a must-see destination in anyone’s lifetime. A delicious lunch and choice of camel ride or boat trip on the Nile was included. I highly recommend choosing this tour for the best Pyramid experience.
This tour was awesome with my guide Jene who has the most knowledge of Egyptian history I was in ore of him and to boot a great person The pyramids in giza what can you say except Wow and because I was with him didn't get harassed then we went on a Nile cruise for lunch which was fantastic and I'm a fussy eater and to finish the day went on a felluka ride down the Nile it was a long day but worth every penny also my driver Ahmed was a terrific guy do your self a favor and go to Egypt 🇪🇬 and book with Egypt Day Tours I promise you that you won't be disappointed I will definitely come again
