Francisco was a great guy to be guided by, made lots of jokes throughout the tour, keeping comfort amongst us, lots of interesting facts and information through the tour about algarve would recommend other people to visit and attend the tour. Wear clothes you would not mind being ruined as sand in the mountains gets stuck on clothes easily

Excellent tour, wonderful views, lots of history and a surprise during tour at a local beach. Lunch was amazing would highly recommend this tour. Staff are very informative and their attention to safety is excellent 👌

I honestly can’t recommend Algarve riders or the 6 hour tour enough. We had an amazing day. From the time we checked in, we met some lovely, funny and friendly staff. We were given helmet, goggles and light overalls to wear. We were shown how to use the buggies, which were automatic, introduced to our tour guides, then set off on our amazing 6 hour trip. We had a few stops along the way, so plenty of time to get out take pictures, stretch the legs and swap drivers. The views along the way were incredible. We stopped at a beautiful restaurant where they crew their own fruits/vegetables and made lots of different jams that we were able to try. We had a lovely lunch there which was included in the price of the tour. We had Paulo and Paulo as our guides, they were both very informative, giving us lots of information on the local history, but also very funny and kept the mood very light and enjoyable. I can’t wait to go back and go on another tour.

Brilliant. We did the full day Buggy driving tour. Our 3rd buggy experience with Algarve Riders in the past 12 months (and the 2nd full day tour). It was even better than before. If you you want to experience the peace, remoteness and beauty of the rural Algarve but you also like some adrenaline and excitement, this is certainly for you. If there is such a thing as a cross between a remote country hike and go-karting then a full 2 seat buggy driving with Algarve Riders is it. Challenging, breathtaking but always safe under the watchful eye of Paulo the Tour Guide who is careful to match the terrain to the capability of the driver. Our 6 and 14 years olds loved it as passengers - just the right side of scary. We loved it so much we did it all over again in a different season. You are provided helmets, goggles, face scarf and overalls as you can very dusty, muddy and wet. But make sure you wear old trainers. Big rocky road climbs, crossing stream and muddy puddles, A fantastic and expertly guided and managed day out with a wonderful lunch stop at the remote Quinta do Freixo - a must do restaurant destination in its's own right. Well organised and professional. Highly recommended.

Awesome experience ! Highly recommended. With a 6hour tour you will see a fields of oranges, tangerines and lemons. We had few stops to drink a coffee and walk a bit around surroundings. Also we have visited Castle of Paderne (we learned a bit history from tour leader as well, much appreciated). The tour leader is very attentive to the guest and was responsible to keep safety among us checking road conditions and traffic before we were going to the road or off-road. We had booked quad tour for couple for 6 hours, but the day before I've been contacted by the representative and asked if I would like to change quad to buggy as they were receiving Feedback from the customers that 2 people on one quad for 6 hours is not really comfy. I agreed and swapped quad to buggy and have never regret about it as we had different roads and altitudes and sitting together on quad would not bring us that much fun we had driving buggy. Very friendly team, knowledgeable and experienced. Recommend !

We had a great time yesterday on our all day quad biking tour. We would definitely recommend and go all day if you can. Ran smoothly and the team are all professional and kept things safe. Plenty of off road trails. Wear dark colours as you get pretty filthy especially if like my husband you insist on going through every puddle possible. It was really nice to go to get the opportunity to go to Quinta do Freixo for lunch. It was a beautiful place with opportunity to taste some homemade produce. We had transfer from the hotel there and back which was great. (Small extra charge) We would do again if we return to the Algarve.

Day was great fun, food was amazing in a stunning resteraunt. Jam tasting and places you stop where really good and the tour leaders very knowledgeable and friendly. Would highly recommend it
