Tour begint u te verwelkomen aan boord van een bus die naar Matera rijdt, waar u een deskundige lokale gids ontmoet. Een wandeltocht door het beroemde Sassi, een UNESCO Werelderfgoed. Wandel door de labyrintische straatjes van huizen uitgehouwen in de rots. Vertrek vanaf Piazza Eroi del Mare in Bari en rijden naar Matera. De volgorde van de bezoeken aan Matera en Alberobello zou omgedraaid kunnen worden.

Unesco Werelderfgoedlocatie Alberobello lijkt op een stedelijke wildgroei – voor kabouters. De zona dei trulli op de meest westelijke van de twee heuvels van de stad is een dichte massa van 1500 bijenkorfvormige huizen, met witte randen alsof ze bedekt zijn met sneeuw. Deze droge stenen gebouwen zijn gemaakt van lokale kalksteen; geen enkele is ouder dan de 14e eeuw.

Enchanting, and dream like. A must see when you’re in Bari. You can get lost in the city and it’s amazing. The history is felt in every corner you turn. In addition, there are many shops and restaurants to explore as well as beautiful photo backdrops!

Welcome in front of a new and clean mini van, in which we settled for a scenic trip along the Bari seafront, which took us to Alberobello. Extremely professional, smiling and above all helpful guide. She took care of my husband, who after an operation still has difficulty walking, finding the right balance with the rest of the group.
