Alberobello en Matera-bustour vanuit Bari

Beschrijving

Just as they describe it, and as they confirm, the tour is suitable and very well thought out. I highly recommend the tour.
Perfect organisation and care for all passengers. My family is very happy! Thanks!
We enjoyed our trip to Alberobello and Matera. We did the VIP option with guided tours at both locations with the oil tasting in Alberobello. The tasting was short but enjoyable and the shop where it was held has fantastic local produce. We bought a sandwich and warm cakes which were delicious The guides in both places were friendly and very knowledgeable- special thanks to Pascale in Matera for the great tour (and giving us a euro for the bus back up the hill!) It is worth going on an organised tour for the air conditioned bus! We looked at trains and local buses it it was not straight forward getting to both places
Friendly service and staff..
It does not include a guide and should be clearer when offering it; they are just shuttles that take you to the place, and the guided tour is charged separately, which also claims to include a tasting, consisting of a 2cm x 2cm snack standing in a tiny business in Matera.
Very organised, good written information to fet the best our of the trip. Clear information around timings. In all a good day out
very nice trip and got a lot of time to explore both in Alberobello and Matera. Guided tour is optional, you can always explore by yourself.
Thank you for your kind review! We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed the trip and appreciated the time available to explore both Alberobello and Matera at your own pace. We designed the experience to offer flexibility, allowing guests to choose between joining a guided tour or discovering these beautiful UNESCO destinations independently. We hope to welcome you again on another adventure in Puglia! 😊
We spent a beautiful day in both towns. The tour guide in Alberobello spoke in both English and Spanish, and we had plenty of time to look around and grab a quick bite to eat as well as purchase souvenirs. The town of Matera was a bit different though. The walking tour lasted over 3 hours, and we had no time to eat or visit any of the shops. At the end, we were brought to our start point which had very limited stores and generic souvenir shops. When we booked the tour with Viator, we had requested English, but with all of the translations in Matera, the tour was very long and we were disappointed that we were unable to have any personal time to look around in the city. There was another group that received solely the English tour, and they finished way before us. I have no souvenirs or purchases from Matera as a result. I suppose the only suggestion I could provide a potential customer would be to insist on English to save some time during the tour.
Comments: guide in English for Spanish and English speakers… the French minority manages with the written guide… Visit to Matera at a fast pace… Prepare for the summer season and tourist regulation?
This is a must do experience if you are in the region. I would not do more than two cities in one day . Our guides in both cities were excellent and locals. Definitely pay a little extra for guides versus the online option. You’ll have a better experience. Alborobello and Matera are unique gems, I highly recommend if you enjoy history!
