- BELANGRIJKE OPMERKING OVER BABYWAGENS: Houd er rekening mee dat kinderwagens niet zijn toegestaan op de Akropolis, de archeologische vindplaats, en dat er geen garderobe is bij de zij-ingang die we gebruiken om binnen te komen. Voor uw eigen gemak is het raadzaam om in plaats van een kinderwagen een babytasje te gebruiken

Our tour guide was Magdalini (Magda) and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour. We went early to avoid the heat. Magda told us stories along the way up and found shade for us which was appreciated because it gets quite hot. She was very knowledgeable and answered all the questions asked. We had some free time on top to take our own pics. The second half was the tour of the museum- I highly recommend someone do the tour with the museum because Magda’s explanation and stories of the artifacts in the museum brought the Acropolis to life. We took the tour that bought our tickets to Acropolis and Museum before hand. I highly recommend so you don’t have to deal with that issue. I highly recommend the tour. Note: our tour lasted 5 hours because of crowd at Acropolis. That was perfect for us because we didn’t have any plans afterwards but just note that crowded days may mean a longer tour.

Magda was one of the best tour guides we’ve ever had. She was knowledgeable about every question our group asked. The guide was excellent in terms of knowledge but he walked too quickly and left people behind. This became quite stressful, especially as the path could be slippery at times.
