Ontdek de verborgen pareltjes van Chefchaouen en de adembenemende Akchour-watervallen op een dag vol natuur, cultuur en authentieke Marokkaanse ervaringen. Reis door het schilderachtige Rifgebergte, langs traditionele dorpen voordat u stopt bij een traditionele Amazigh-bergoven om te genieten van vers gebakken Marokkaans brood en lokale zoetigheden, en brood te verzamelen voor de tajine die u later zult bereiden. In Akchour volgt u uw lokale Gids op een wandeling van 45 minuten naar de prachtige watervallen. Ontspan naast kristalheldere natuurlijke zwembaden met tijd om te zwemmen of te ontspannen, en bereid vervolgens uw eigen traditionele Marokkaanse tajine, langzaam gekookt boven een houtvuur terwijl u geniet van de omgeving. Ga verder naar de magische blauwe stad Chefchaouen, waar een gecertificeerde lokale Gids u door de iconische blauwe straatjes, verborgen steegjes en culturele bezienswaardigheden leidt tijdens een wandeltocht van 2 uur. Een combinatie van adembenemende landschappen, authentiek eten, lokale tradities en Expert begeleide ontdekkingen.

We maken een snelle stop bij een lokale markt, waar je water, snacks en reisbenodigdheden kunt kopen om je voor te bereiden op je Marokko-avontuur.
We maken een schilderachtige rit van 2 uur en 30 minuten door de charmante ingang van Tetouan en naar het prachtige Rifgebergte. Onderweg stoppen we 10 minuten bij Sed Enakhla, waar je kunt genieten van de prachtige groene landschappen van Marokko en een aantal memorabele foto's kunt maken van het natuurlijke landschap.
Geniet van een stop bij een traditionele Amazigh-bergoven, waar de lokale bevolking vers Marokkaans brood bakt met behulp van aloude methoden. Proef versgebakken brood met traditionele Marokkaanse zoetigheden, ervaar deze authentieke lokale traditie en neem wat brood mee om van te genieten naast uw lunch in Akchour. Je hebt ook tijd om gedenkwaardige foto's te maken van deze unieke omgeving (we vragen je vriendelijk om te voorkomen dat je omwonenden fotografeert zonder hun toestemming).
Ervaar de magie van Akchour Watervallen in Marokko, een verborgen juweeltje in het hart van het Rifgebergte. Omgeven door weelderig groen, neemt deze serene ontsnapping u mee langs schilderachtige paden naar adembenemende watervallen en kristalheldere zwembaden, perfect om te ontspannen in de omhelzing van de natuur. Geniet met uw Gids van een wandeling van 45 minuten naar de kleine watervallen, gevolgd door tijd om te ontspannen en deze prachtige natuurlijke omgeving te verkennen. Je brengt ongeveer 1,5 uur door aan het water, waar de ervaring wordt voortgezet met een hands-on culinair moment — bereid je eigen traditionele Marokkaanse tajine met verse lokale ingrediënten en laat het vervolgens langzaam garen boven een houtvuur. Na deze unieke ervaring in de natuur, geniet u van uw maaltijd voordat u terug wandelt (45 minuten) om dit onvergetelijke avontuur te voltooien.
Reis naar Chefchaouen via een schilderachtige landelijke route van 45 minuten, ver van de belangrijkste toeristische wegen. We komen aan in het charmante stadje Chefchaouen, waar onze vriendelijke lokale gids u hartelijk zal begroeten, het begin van uw avontuur. Voordat we de betoverende blauwe Medina verkennen, nemen we een moment om te ontspannen en te verfrissen. Geniet vervolgens van een begeleide wandeltocht waar u verborgen juweeltjes ontdekt, een duik neemt in de rijke geschiedenis van de stad en de levendige cultuur en het dagelijks leven van Chefchaouen ervaart.
Verken tijdens je bezoek het binnenland van Chefchaouen's historische Marokkaanse Kasbah. WOW! This has been one of most memorable family days out ever - truly an incredible adventure! The tour guides have been so wonderful and educational! They were passionate & knowledgeable … kind and very professional! This is a trek - by car and on feet!! We loved Hicham our Chefchaouen Guide! He took us through the Blue City and shared the history of its soul and the people. Made sure we missed nothing and went may a good pace - this is a HIKE - but very interesting! Stopped by the river for fresh orange juice! Mohammed was such a fun host for Ackchour! This is a HIKE but worth every step & worth the end result! We swam in the river’s natural pools and dined on an organic Tangine (that we made with the help of 3 brothers) under a waterfall! We had no idea that Northern Morocco had such a beautiful terrain! And Mounir, what a fine human! He was our driver for the day! He is the best in the business. He coordinated everything along the way including a stop in each direction for tea and ice cream / bread & cookies (important for teenagers!) We are blown away by the Moroccan hospitality & warm welcome that we received on this tour - and by the natural beauty of the land! This was an absolute treat! Wear shoes! Bring flip flops / suits / towels if you plan to swim (& you should!) TEENAGER APPROVED! If we could give this 10 stars we would!

The drive through the mountains was beautiful, but the highlight for me was definitely Akchour. Sitting by the waterfalls and preparing our own tajine together was such a special moment. It didn’t feel like a typical tour, but more like a real experience we shared.Everything was well organized, and the team made us feel comfortable from the beginning. We could just relax and enjoy the day.Chefchaouen was lovely as expected, but what made the day unforgettable were all the small moments along the way. Every member of the Yalah team we interacted with was fantastic and made sure we had what we needed and were comfortable. The company engages local guides who are experts in their respective areas. We loved our tour! We really felt like we saw the authentic side of Morocco. Our driver was friendly, and both tour guides were wonderful as well. Our guide in Chefchaouen was especially great, I think his name was Neshem? He took us to fun little spots and took beautiful photos of our family. He seemed to know everyone as we often stopped to chat with locals. We even were invited inside a wonderful woman’s home to show what their life is really like. He was kind and friendly to my teen daughters as well, they really enjoyed seeing him interact with everyone around. Of course, Chefchaouen and Akchour Falls are absolutely beautiful and we enjoyed having guides to show us around as they are both easy to get lost in. Highly recommend this tour and company, they are friendly and helpful!

Great day excursion and be prepared for a long day from Tanger — but worth it! Naoufal was our driver and guide for most of the day. He took us to special local places and shared local treats. He knew I was a photographer so he was very thoughtful about pictures and views. Chefchaouen is a wonderful gem in Morocco and very worth the trip from Tanger to see the Medina. We had a separate local guide in Chefchaouen and he was good but we sometimes had a hard time understanding his English. He did recommend an excellent restaurant for lunch in Chefchaouen.

Wonderful private tour. Our driver Annas picked us up around 9 am about 5 min walk from our hotel. He answered so many questions and we had a wonderful conversation in the 2 hour drive to Chefchaouen. Once we arrived in the blue city we met up with guide Hicham who told us all about the separate parts of the city but also found great spots to take our phots in the city. We spent over 2 hours learning all about the history of the city. Annas then drove us to Akchour waterfall where we met up with guide Issa. After setting us up to eat at nice restaurant, Issa guided us through series of waterfalls and water pools. Issa lived nearby and was able to tell us about area and his village. After 4 pm we began drive back to Tangier with Annas. We couldn't have asked for better guides than these 3!

We had a wonderful time on this tour. Our driver Anass made the entire trip very relaxing by driving safely and was a good conversationalist when we had energy at the beginning of the trip and also respectful of our need to have some time to rest in silence on the return journey! Our time in Chefchaouen was absolutely perfect thanks to our wonderful guide Hicham. He gave us a very informative tour while also helping us get many amazing photos along the way and was also patient when we wanted to stop for some shopping along the way. He showed us all of the main tourist part or the old town, but also many less touristy areas. Everyone throughout the town seemed to recognize Hicham which made it feel extra special to be seeing the town with a true local. We would definitely recommend this tour and the tour company in general.
