Aix-en-Provence Halve dag wijntour met picknick & petanque
Beschrijving
Dit is veel meer dan een gewone "toeristische" wijntour. We beginnen de dag met een rit door de mooiste (en nog onontgonnen door massatoerisme) wijnvallei rond het Sainte Victoire massief. Ik breng u naar een mooie, authentieke wijngaard waar ik u uitleg geef over het productieproces van de wijn en natuurlijk proeft u de heerlijke wijnen van het pand : 1 witte, 1 rode en 3 totaal verschillende rosés om meer te weten te komen over deze beroemdste wijn uit de Provence ! Daarna zullen we wat plezier hebben met jeu de boules spelen en een lokale picknick houden onder de schaduw van platanen op het centrale plein in een klein, rustig dorpje buiten de gebaande paden. Daarna heb je je vrije tijd om een wandeling te maken door wijnvelden of de kleine steegjes in het dorp te verkennen, een kopje koffie of ijs te drinken... Als u dat liever heeft, kan ik in plaats van onze pétanque-picknick voor uw groep een intieme picknick in de natuur of een ander wijnhuisbezoek voorbereiden. Mooie weg over het Sainte Victoire-massief en wandeling door wijnvelden en in het hooggelegen dorp waar we een klein spelletje petanque zullen spelen op het plaatselijke plein. Bezoek en wijnproeverij in een van de wijnhuizen. Gewoon de authentieke Provence, ver weg van het massatoerisme.

Tom was the absolute best tour guide we could have imagined. My friend and I spent one day doing the wine and picnic tour, and the next day with Tom doing Gorges du Verdon and lavender fields and we had the most spectacular experience. Tom is so funny, and kind, and takes amazing photos. You can tell he truly loves what he does and we didn’t want our time to end. 100% will recommend to anyone I know visiting the area!!

This was the most amazing experience with Tom!!! He is soo much fun and taught us about the surrounding areas, stopped at the best photo places and packed the best picnic. I could not recommend this tour more and Tom as the best guide!!

Tom was a very amenable host and accommodated our special requests as we had restricted time. We went to a vineyard and a wine cooperative and tried lots of delicious wines, learning lots about how they were made and the culture of family wine-making. Although our picnic was rained off (which is really unusual!), Tom took us on a little drive and showed us a cool artists mansion and then dropped us at the hotel with our picnics and wine to take away! Despite the rain we all had a great time! Would highly recommend Tom. Great local knowledge, excellent English and more than helpful.

This is a fantastic half day trip. Tom was friendly, knowledgeable and obviously passionate about Provence. Lavender and sunflower fields, amazing scenery, exceptionally good wines and Pétanque - what a great morning Thank you Tom, your English and sense of humour are brilliant

My group had an amazing day with Tom! He was very friendly and laughed with us all day. The picnic and pétanque was the highlight! He is very knowledgeable about wine and gave us a great tasting and lots of information. Would recommend to anyone interested in a fun and informative tour!!

This was an outstanding experience ! Tom is the best! The day is full of fun and learning. Lots of infos out Aix and wine and we also had a Provençale picnic and played pétanque. The day went so quickly but it will be one of my fondest memories of beautiful Aix!! Thank you, Tom!!

A great day exploring the area east of Aix en Provence, under Saint Victoire mountain. We had a diverse set of activities including a vineyard walk, winery visit and tasting, snacks along with a fun games of pelanque, lunch, and a visit to a basilica in St. Maximin. Tom was our driver and guide and shared so much information throughout the day. What a memorable day we had!

What a great tour. Tom was an amazing guide, vivacious and knowledgeable. He has and easy going personality and makes you feel welcome and at ease. We tasted great wines, had a nice lunch and walked through some small villages off the beaten track, which adds to the authentic flavor of the experience. It feels more like a semi private tour, due to the individualized attention to a small group ( maximum of 6 people). Highly recommended.
