Oumayma and her mother make a friendly and educational duo, perfect for learning to cook! Everything is traditional, authentic; they have a beautiful story and a great project. I was able to learn how to make a chicken tagine with olives; the chicken comes from the farm, the olives too, all the products are healthy. I ate all of this accompanied by Moroccan tea and bread, and then I visited their farms and other workshops. Time flies very quickly, and it is a real human and cultural exchange; we laughed a lot. Thank you! I recommend it to everyone 👌
4 hours out of time with Oumayma and her mom: We were greeted with tea and cupcakes in his garden amidst tangerine trees, olive trees, pomegranates with beautiful peacocks , hens, roosters. Very nice moment of sharing during the realization of our meal a tagine and a Moroccan salad that we tasted. Small turn to sheep and lambs. Sensory garden ... Everything was perfect.
Wonderful experience. Making special food for Ramadan. During the raving storm we had to move inside. Very interesting to se inside a Marockan home. Really wish people will find your classes. Works out perfekt with taxi pi up at the hotell.
We had a beautiful cooking class with Oumayma and her mom. An authentic experience and delicious food. Highly recommend. 😊
A family run enterprise set in an organically operated homestead, this was a wonderful experience for all of our family. We were made to feel welcome by Oumaima and her mum, they explained the food we were going to make and demonstrated the traditional methods, before we attempted various stages ourselves. There was lots of opportunities to ask questions about their culture, religion and cuisine throughout the evening. All of our children got involved and loved preparing vegetables and making pastilla and other Morrocan food. I was also an opportunity for our children to help harvest some Vegetation and feed the animals. Ultimately we got to share a big feast with a few of the friendly people also attending the course as well as our hosts. The food was rich and tasty and our children tried new things that they wouldn't normally eat. It's difficult to fault the experience as we felt fully immersed in the Moroccan culture which is what we were seeking.
I very much enjoyed this experience with Oumayma and her mum are very friendly. I had the opportunity to discuss the cuisine and learn how to make a beef prune tagine. We cooked outdoors using sustainable methods. Oumayma also gave me a tour of her farm; how she maintains it, the challenges she faces, the different farming techniques and vision for the future. I highly recommend this class.
Our family had a wonderful day with Oumayma and her mother at Green Akal. Everything from the communication before the visit to the cooking class and mud brick workshop was such a great, well planned and inspiring experience. The place is beautiful and Oumayma and her mother are amazing hosts who create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. A great thing to do with kids as well.
It was my first time in Agadir / Morocco, and I had the pleasure to live the experience with Green Akal and Oumayma, who were very welcoming and helpful, we cooked the famous Moroccan tagine, side dishes and many other things we had the chance to discover in the farm . It was a unique experience for us, and i highly recommend it for anyone coming to agadir very soon
What a fantastic experience. From start to finish. Oumayma and her family have created something very special here. Myself and my husband came for the cooking experience and it exceeded our expectations in every way. Oumayma is a true inspiration. Her vision and passion for the farm and the cooking experiences shines out. It was educational, fun, and very authentic. Spending time with her mum teaching us how to cook in the traditional way was something that we will never forget. To finish it all, we shared a beautiful meal that we had all cooked together. If you want a genuine experience, without the mass tourists, I would highly recommend this.
Super chill vibe cooking with Oumayma and her family. If you want a day away from the busy city on your vacation you have to come here. Would recommend.
Thank you Kimberley, it was so nice spending the day with you and your friends. Until next time inshalah :)
