De tour bezoekt het westelijke deel van Rio de Janeiro, dat ongerept is gebleven met veel natuur en afgelegen stranden. We volgen de kustlijn en passeren 5 verschillende stranden (São Conrado, Barra, Reserva, Recreio en Macumba). We stoppen eerst bij Prainha, een klein en beschermd strand dat wordt beschouwd als de surfplek in Rio, waar je 1,5 uur wandelt naar Caeté Summit (253 m = 830 ft) met een geweldig uitzicht op de kust en andere bergen van Rio. Van Prainha, in nog 5 minuten. rijden we Grumari bereiken, onze laatste stop en waar we blijven om ongeveer 3 uur van het strand te genieten. Grumari het is ook een beschermd gebied en u zult genieten van een geweldig en paradijselijk tropisch strand met wit en fijnkorrelig zand, groene bergen en helder water (breng een handdoek en badpak mee).

Wonderful place, much heat and the trail made us sweat well rsrs. But the beautiful tour, I really liked Guia Renata, very friendly and explained very well the journey we did.

The walk was very good, it included some hiking in Prainha, and then I had the option to choose between this beach and Grumari, which I preferred because it was less crowded. Santiago, my guide, was attentive during the hiking, also giving me information about the history of Brazil and recent events. I highly recommend Jungle me, for their professionalism and attention to detail.

If in Rio you must take a day to see the beautiful beaches outside of the city and the magic of the Tijuca Forest. Fun day and we even learned a lot about the history of Brazil.

Excellent tour that combines a trail in the Atlantic forest and the afternoon on the most isolated beaches in Rio de Janeiro: Prainha and Grumari. For me, it was a perfect day: the trail in the bush was nice, with a beautiful view at the end. Our guide Thiago shared a lot of information about nature, the history of Rio de Janeiro, it was quite enriching. After that, we walked to the beach of Grumari and spent the rest of the afternoon there, enjoying the beauty of the sea, without a lot of people around. For people who want to enjoy the beauty of Rio with light physical activity and enjoyable beach, I recommend.
