We booked 3x BBQ Buoys for our staff Christmas Cruise Party and they did not disappoint. Our crew took to the high seas *river* at 4pm after our captains received their instructions from the very friendly and obliging BBQ Buoys Boys. We boarded with our bags of snacks that we had brought with us and our eskies were expertly packed with the beverages we had selected and off we went. We didn't take advantage of the food offerings as we had lunch earlier in the day. It's a great way to relax, have a laugh, crank the tunes and have a drink or 3. Highly recommend.
We were a family of 8 adults and 2 kids celebrating our Pisces birthday month. It was such fun and the boat seating allowed great interaction between all. We had a deluxe/premium drink package that was fairly priced and brought our own platters. The instruction to steer etc was professional and life jackets supplied for the kiddies. We had such fun and it was so good to see our beautiful city via the Torrens.
Jazz kept in touch with me. Ethan assisted on the day. Great morning with friends - cheese / meat platter and good wines with music as we moved up and down the river. Enjoyed by all.
We had the picnic option for 10 today, being 10th Dec. Was a nice day and afternoon, very professional I thought with the training before to drive the boat. Enough food and drink. Reasonably priced nice afternoon with friends
We had this booked for months and the bbq buoys cancelled it because of weather conditions which was fine. Now I’ve sent 4 emails and 2 unanswered phone calls asking for my refund and I’ve had no response. I can’t contact anyone and no one is contacting me back. I’m about to go to an ombudsman because I’ve had enough. It shouldn’t be this hard.
We had a birthday party for our 13 year old with her friends. It was a fun party - teenagers enjoying bbq food and listening to the music while chatting away …. . I was driving the boat, no experience needed. It was a very relaxing ride . But I am glad I brought my elder daughter along so she can look after the BBQ while I focus on driving the boat . The scenery along the river is great, and with ducks / birds in the river, it was actually a very enjoyable ride. The staffs there on the day were extremely helpful. I think I will definitely do that again.

We had a great afternoon with BBQ Buoys catering for our group of 38. Everyone had a great afternoon, the buoys were very clean and well catered for and when we needed to swap out some of the drinks from our drink package mid way through our booking, that was no problem. So much fun, laughter and food. Definately be back with our families
We did the 2 hour BBQ cruise with 3 other couples, total of 8 of us. Very comfortable sitting in the boat and easy with the bbq in the middle. Our drinks were pre ordered and all organized for when we arrived. Staff were friendly and quickly ran through all the details for steering, safety etc. We all really enjoyed the cruise. A great way to do something different and get out about and enjoy beautiful Adelaide. Would highly recommend to friends to do.
Had a fabulous time cruising the Torrens. Excellent service. Fabulous platter. Easy to order drinks etc beforehand. Would definitely do again. Great fun
It was great fun and the beauty of the waters is very enticing. For anyone who wants to chill around with a group, this is a great activity.
