**Beleef een uniek avontuur in Ghana** Geniet van een rustige en unieke boottocht op het Voltameer, het grootste kunstmatige meer van Afrika. Geniet van een heerlijke lunch aan boord van de cruise of op een schilderachtige plek aan het meer. Daarna begint u aan een minisafari in Shai Hills, waar u de kans krijgt om verschillende wilde dieren te zien, waaronder struisvogels, antilopen, vleermuizen en een scala aan vogels, zoals de violette turaco, paradijselijke vliegenvanger, groene turaco, roodsnavelhoornvogel, geelvoorhoofdtinkervogel en roodhalsbuizerd. Kijk uit naar bavianen, katten, duikers, parelhoenders, kobben, groene apen, hagedissen en zebra's, samen met vele prachtige vlinders. Verdiep je daarnaast in het rijke erfgoed van het Ghanese kralenmaken. Ontdek het ingewikkelde proces van het omzetten van verbrijzeld glas in fijn poeder, dat vervolgens zorgvuldig wordt gebakken om prachtige kralen te produceren.

Het Shai Hills Resource Reserve is het dichtstbijzijnde natuurreservaat bij Accra. Zie bavianen, vogels, vlinders, antilopen, struisvogels, zebra's en vleermuisgrotten. Er zijn wandel- en autoroutes van verschillende lengtes beschikbaar, evenals rotsklimmen. Prachtig uitzicht op de vlaktes van Accra vanaf de heuvels. er zijn bijna tientallen primaire diersoorten, waaronder struisvogels, antilopen, vleermuizen, vogels (zoals violette toerako's, paradijsvliegenvanger, groene toerako roodsnavelvogel, geelvoorhoofdtinkervogel en roodhalsbuizerd), bavianen, katten, duiker, parelhoenders, Kobs, groene apen, varanen en zebra's....tijdens het wandelen kom je er een aantal tegen...
Een bezoek aan deze plant leert je hoe glazen worden omgezet in prachtige kralen die ons lichaam sieren. Kijk hoe de glazen tot een fijn poeder worden vermalen en in een kleivorm worden geplaatst. Onderzoek hoe het wordt gekookt door gemalen palmpitten op een ongelooflijk hoge temperatuur te verbranden om het gewenste resultaat te bereiken. Je zult verbaasd zijn hoe gemakkelijk traditionele technologie wordt gebruikt om uit palmpitten een temperatuur van ongeveer 600°C te halen. Bezoek deze kralenfabriek om te leren hoe je ze kunt maken, en vergeet niet wat kralen te kopen voor souvenirs – en cadeaus!
Atimpoku biedt een verfrissend uitzicht op Volta Lake. Stop bij het prachtige Bridge View Hotel voor een prachtig uitzicht op het meer en de heuvels beneden. Ga vervolgens op een boottocht op Volta Lake. Deze ervaring kan worden versterkt als u besluit om te zwemmen!

Great experience with an awesome guide who took special care of us throughout the day. Daniel, our guide, was funny, kind, and on it with the picture taking. The tour is nicely paced and really covers a lot of terrain. The mountains are just beautiful. If you’re staying Accra, definitely worth it to get out and see other landscapes here in Ghana.
