De Sjeik Zayed-moskee bevindt zich in Abu Dhabi, de hoofdstad van de Verenigde Arabische Emiraten. Het is de grootste moskee van het land en het belangrijkste gebedshuis voor dagelijkse gebed, het vrijdaggebed en gebed voor het suikerfeest (Eid). Tijdens het suikerfeest wordt de moskee bezocht door meer dan 41.000 personen.

De architectuur van het paleis is schitterend en zeer luxueus. Voor het interieur van het paleis is het meest hoogwaardige materiaal gebruikt, en dit is voor u een perfecte gelegenheid om het paleis gratis te bekijken. Het hotel heeft een aantal restaurants en cafés.
Het presidentiële paleis in Abu Dhabi is één van de belangrijkste bezienswaardigheden in de Verenigde Arabische Emiraten. Bezoek Heritage Village om kennis te maken met de traditionele aspecten van het leven in de woestijn en maak een reis terug in de tijd in een soek, moskee en een kamp zoals in Abu Dhabi toen het nog niet was gemoderniseerd. U kunt winkelen, kunstvoorwerpen ontdekken en kijken naar ambachtslieden die pottenbakken, glasblazen en weven op een weefgetouw. Loop door de Emirates Heritage Club, een nagebouwd traditioneel oasedorpje dat interessant inzicht geeft in het verleden van het emiraat. Kijk naar de openbare werkplaatsen waar ambachtslieden hun traditionele vaardigheden tonen, zoals metaal bewerken, pottenbakken, weven en spinnen. De ambachtslieden tonen hun vaardigheden aan de bezoekers en geven u soms zelfs de gelegenheid om het zelf uit te proberen. De kleine kruidenwinkel in het dorp heeft en groot aanbod aan gedroogde kruiden, handgemaakte zepen en allerhande souvenirs.
U rijdt over de Corniche.
Dit is de belangrijkste en grootste markt om dadels te kopen in Abu Dhabi. De verschillende dadelsoorten zijn meestal beschikbaar op de markt tijdens het seizoen. U vindt hier ook dadelproducten uit Oman en Saoedi-Arabië. De prijzen hier zijn de beste in de stad.
Het Founder's Memorial is een permanent nationaal eerbetoon ter nagedachtenis aan het leven, de erfenis en de waarden van wijlen Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, de grondlegger van de VAE. Een plek om te leren over Sheikh Zayed door middel van kunst, natuur, woorden, verhalen en multimedia-ervaringen, The Founder's Memorial biedt bezoekers een scala aan persoonlijke ontmoetingen met wijlen Sheikh Zayed als een man en als een leider, waardoor mensen een dieper begrip krijgen van zijn enorme invloed op de VAE en de rest van de wereld.

We halen u op bij hotels in de wijk Abu Dhabi. Vermeld uw hotelnaam bij het reserveren. Onze gids ontmoet u in de lobby van het hotel op de aangegeven ophaaltijd. Houd er rekening mee dat de vermelde tourtijd een geschatte ophaaltijd is; ons team zal u informeren over de exacte tijd op basis van de locatie van uw hotel en eventuele schemaaanpassingen. Als er wijzigingen zijn, zullen wij deze onmiddellijk aan u doorgeven.

- Als u een bezoek aan een moskee brengt, en vooral de grote moskee in Abu Dhabi, gelden er conservatieve kledingvoorschriften. Zowel mannen als vrouwen moeten hun benen en armen bedekken. Geen korte broeken of rokken boven de enkel. Draag geen strakke kleding, dit is niet een plek voor een yogabroek! Vermijd doorzichtige kleren, want die zijn niet gepast in een religieuze omgeving. Vrouwelijke bezoekers van de moskee wordt gevraagd hun haar te bedekken. Bij aankomst wordt een hoofddoek verstrekt. U wordt ook gevraagd uw schoenen uit te trekken.

This tour is an excellent orientation to Abu Dhabi with a tour of some key attractions with a guide who provides live interactive commentary. The pickup and drop off point is your hotel in Abu Dhabi city. You get to see quite a bit of the city center as other tour participants are picked up and on the way to the Grand Mosque - the first stop on the tour. The mosque is the meeting point for everyone on the tour cWith 90 minutes to tour the mosque, the guide provides excellent information and orientation including tips for meeting the dress code to enter the mosque. In certain cases participants were provided appropriate coverings to ensure the rules were followed. The mosque is massive and the guide led everyone very efficiently through the screening to the key areas while providing interesting information along the way. At the conclusion of the tour to the mosque, everyone boarded the bus for the remainder of the tour. With certain drive by points and stops at the heritage center and date market one gets a feel for life and ways of old Abu Dhabi. It’s a tour just long enough and yet to the point in terms of time commitment and correct amount of information. Highly recommend primarily because it’s so well arranged and managed.

We took the half day Abu Dhabi tour, we enjoyed it and would recommend it to future travellers. Our tour guide was Mirsa, he was friendly and very knowledgeable, we received a lot of interesting information about UAE, Abu Dhabi and each attraction. As part of the tour we went to the Grand Mosque, special outfits and headwear were provided to the females as part of the tour. We are very happy with the tour and Mirsa. We had a fantastic morning with Manuela and her driver. Pick up was exactly as arranged. Munees was our guide for the half day Abu Dhabi city tour, we were only 5 in the group but received no information, feedback about any attractions, or any information of value that could have made the trip more memorable!! We were driven around without a word from our guide, dropped off at various attractions and had to find our own way around without our guide to guide and provide information, Munees’s English was very bad and he didn’t understand much of what the group was saying, he could not communicate with the group. It was a complete waste of time and we could have gotten more value if we did the tour by ourselves, Munees was of no assistance, really a bad experience
