Ochtend om 09:00 uur ontmoet je onze professional, je begint aan de kleine rit naar de stad Abu Dhabi na een korte introductie over de rondleidingen en activiteiten.
De stadstour door Abu Dhabi begint met een bezoek aan de grootste moskee van de VAE en een van de grootste moskeeën ter wereld 'Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque', in de volksmond bekend als 'The White Mosque'. Het onderscheidt zich niet alleen als de grootste moskee ter wereld, maar is de enige die een unieke interactie tussen de islamitische wereld en wereldculturen vastlegt. Gebouwd met een visie om de architecturale stijlen van verschillende moslimbeschavingen op te nemen en de moskee viert de culturele diversiteit van de wereld. Er waren Italiaanse, Britse, Emirati-architecten die hard werkten om een architectonisch meesterwerk te ontwerpen en te bouwen. De onderdelen waren afkomstig uit Turkije, Marokko, Pakistan en Egypte, naast andere islamitische landen, en onthulden een schitterend architectonisch wonder met een verbazingwekkende capaciteit van 40.000 gelovigen en bezoekers. De moskee is vernoemd naar wijlen de president, Zijne Hoogheid Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
De stadstour gaat verder met een fotostop van Emirate Palace Hotel, het op twee na duurste hotel ter wereld dat ongeveer 3 miljard dollar heeft gekost om te bouwen en een van de meest luxueuze hotels ter wereld is.
Rijd door het Al Bateen-gebied van Abu Dhabi, het gebied is de thuisbasis van de president Place, koninklijke familiepaleizen, hoogbouw Iconische hotels met uitzicht op de Perzische Golf. De volgende stop is Abu Dhabi Corniche, het acht kilometer lange stuk perfect gevormde waterkant met kinderspeelplaats, strand, talloze cafés en uitstekende restaurants, een van de beste plekken in Abu Dhabi voor een dagje uit.
Daarna wordt u naar Abu Dhabi Marina Mall geleid, waar u tijd heeft om te winkelen en te lunchen.
Je gaat dan naar het Heritage-dorp Abu Dhabi, waar je de kans krijgt om de traditionele aspecten van de woestijnmanier van leven te ervaren. Het complex omvat alle elementen van een traditionele Emirati-levensstijl: een fort dat de indringers verdedigt, een souk waar de dagelijkse handel in geiten, kamelen en ander levensonderhoud plaatsvond, een moskee die laat zien dat de religie van de islam een belangrijke rol speelt in de levensstijl.
Geniet bij Emirates Palace van de beroemde Palace Cappuccino. Bestrooid met echte 24-karaats gouden vlokken, dit is de belichaming van verwennerij in het paleis. De Gold Cappuccino wordt geserveerd op een gepolijst zilveren dienblad; u kunt genieten van uw cappuccino met een speciale dadel en pure chocolade. Er is ook een gehemelte-reinigend glas water om mee af te sluiten.

On June 13 to June 21, 2025, we vacationed in United Arab Emirates. We toured Dubai and Abu Dhabi. We booked our vacation through Travelocal. Travellocal outlined our itinerary according to our interests. They were very detailed in scheduling the tours. The activities bridged the ancient with the modern of UAE. This vacation was outlined for the total of 8 days. The only downfall was the scheduling of the Grand Mosque, Louvre Museum, and Seaworld in Abu Dhabi. We only spent 1 hour in Seaworld. Perhaps, Seaworld and the Louvre time should have been switched. That is our only negative. Our driver Hussain was the consummate professional. His transportation skills of negotiating through traffic, route planning, and vehicle safety made the rides tranquil. The tour guide Ms Geehan (Gee Gee) is the ultimate professional. Her knowledge of history, communication skills, and personality bridged the tours to the clients' understanding. Her surroundings put the client's in a FAMILY ATMOSPHERE. If asked by potential client's, we would recommend Travelocal to be a guide for people when planning a vacation. Just make sure Ms Gee Gee and Mr Hussain are on the team.

We enjoyed a great tour that included the absolutely stunning Grand Mosque, beautiful Emirates Palace, and the glitz of the Mandarin Oriental - and that gold sprinkled cappuccino is a delicious treat. Anwar, our guide, was so helpful, thoughtful and respectful. With great English he shared some really interesting Arabic insights and the history of the UAE. He was patient and let us spend just the right amount of time at each place that we visited. As a wheelchair user at this time, I particularly appreciated Anwar’s kindness and thoughtfulness. Excellent tour. Our guide Hussain was outstanding. He is like an encyclopedia of knowledge about both Abu Dhabi and Dubai. He is friendly, professional and is clearly understood. We managed to do a lot in a short time, the Grand Mosque was excellent, Emirates Palace 24 karat caupacchino was great and the Predidential Palace was magnificent. Hussain was flexible with us and we had a great time. Communication was great, vehicle clean and comfortable with good A/C. Highly recommend!
