Dit betekent echter niet dat de stad van wereldklasse achterloopt op het gebied van moderne levensstijl of infrastructuur; Abu Dhabi verandert en groeit zelfs voortdurend. In de ochtend, van 08.00 tot 09.00 uur, ontmoet onze professional. U begint de rit naar Abu Dhabi na een korte introductie over de tours en activiteiten.
De stadstour door Abu Dhabi begint met een bezoek aan de grootste moskee in de VAE en een van de grootste moskeeën ter wereld, de ‘Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque’, in de volksmond bekend als ‘The White Mosque’. Het onderscheidt zich niet alleen als de grootste moskee ter wereld, maar ook als de enige die een unieke interactie tussen de islamitische wereld en wereldwijde culturen vastlegt. Gebouwd met een visie om architectonische stijlen uit verschillende moslimbeschavingen op te nemen, viert de moskee culturele diversiteit wereldwijd. Italiaanse, Britse en Emiratische architecten werkten ijverig aan het ontwerpen en bouwen van dit architectonische meesterwerk. De materialen kwamen onder andere uit Turkije, Marokko, Pakistan en Egypte, wat resulteerde in een stralend architectonisch wonder met een indrukwekkende capaciteit van 40.000 aanbidders en bezoekers. De moskee is vernoemd naar de overleden president, Zijne Hoogheid Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
Rijd door het Al Bateen-gebied van Abu Dhabi, waar het presidentieel paleis, de paleizen van de koninklijke familie en iconische hoogbouwhotels met uitzicht op de Perzische Golf zijn gevestigd. De volgende stop is de Abu Dhabi Corniche, een acht kilometer lang stuk perfect gevormde waterkant met een speeltuin, strand, talloze cafés en uitstekende restaurants, waardoor het een van de beste plekken in Abu Dhabi is voor een dagje uit.
De fotoreis stopt heerlijk bij het prachtige Emirates Palace hotel, de indrukwekkende Etihad Towers en het Presidentieel Paleis.
Vervolgens wordt u naar Abu Dhabi Marina Mall geleid, waar u tijd heeft om te winkelen en te lunchen.
Je gaat verder naar een van de beste attracties in Abu Dhabi, het Art and Civilization Museum ‘Louvre Abu Dhabi’. Het museum is het eerste universele museum in het Midden-Oosten dat de geest van culturele openheid belichaamt. Het museum ligt in de wijk Saadiyat in Abu Dhabi en is ontworpen door de Pritzker Prize-winnende architect Jean Nouvel. Het museum omvat 9.200 vierkante meter aan galerijen, waaronder de permanente galerie en een tijdelijke galerie die collecties toont van verschillende opmerkelijke Franse musea, waaronder Musee du Louvre, Musee d'Orsay en Centre Pompidou.
Na een lange maar actieve stadstour brengen we je terug naar je hotel in Dubai.

Abu Dhabi is the capital of the Arab Emirates, the largest as well. I loved the tour of Sheikh Zayed Mosque, it was a guided tour so the guide explained perfectly all the symbols and meanings inside which made more sense even to what we were living, then we went to eat in a spectacular buffet of varied food, the desserts were delicious. We dressed a cultural department where they sold traditional souvenirs and costumes, had a very interesting museum about the nomadic tribes of the region, it was very close to the beach, animals in a very cared environment, we could see how they were fed. We stopped by a viewing point to take pictures and the guide was very patient and accommodating on this tour, next of which we went to the date market and bought dubai chocolate at an excellent price because our guide helped them to get the best deal, it is a lot of fun to buy in these markets. And to put the cherry on the cake, the louvre museum, we had time to enjoy it, we all went different ways, we went wherever the art called us, but I was amazing the place and the facilities, crazy. Highly recommended to visit Abu Dhabi by the agency, all your guides are spectacular.
