My cousin and I completed the 7-day Lemosho Route and summited Uhuru Peak, and we couldn’t have asked for a better team to share that experience with. From the very first interaction, things felt right. Evariste, who handled our booking, was communicative, organized, and made the entire coordination process seamless. Our lead guide, Wency, was the heart and soul of the expedition. Knowledgeable, warm, social, and genuinely fun to be around, he made every single day on the mountain enjoyable, not just survivable. He kept us motivated, informed, and laughing throughout. Among many interests, Wency knows his movies and has excellent recommendations, so if you find yourself needing conversation at altitude, you’re covered. Our assistant guide David matched his energy perfectly; friendly, funny, and incredibly talented at what he does. Together they made an exceptional team. For a group of just two climbers, we were supported by nine additional team members: a cook, waiter, bathroom attendant, and porters. Wency proudly called them the Dream Team, a name they absolutely earned. What struck us most was how genuine everything felt. We learned every team member’s name, had real moments of connection with each of them throughout the trek, and never once felt like we were on a scripted tourist experience. The celebrations and camaraderie felt authentic, not performative, which made it all the more special. The food deserves its own mention. Every meal was delicious and thoughtfully prepared to make sure we had the nutrition we needed each day. At altitude, eating can be a challenge, but the cook made it something to look forward to. Reaching the summit was the achievement of a lifetime, but honestly, the people made this trip. At the end of the climb, the team surprised us with small gifts, a gesture that absolutely confirmed Kilimanjaro Heroes Adventures was the right company to go with. Absolutely incredible! Hiked Lemosho 7 days with my cousin. I couldn't be happier to have booked with Kili Heroes. Everything was handled incredibly well -- initial comms, payment, arrival, and -- of course -- the climb. Food was great; tent was high quality; and they include several thoughtful gifts at the end of the trip. The guides, cook, and porters were all phenomenal. I was lucky enough to be able to climb the Lemosho route in 8 days with the company Kilimanjaro Hereos Adventures and then 5 days of safari. I highly recommend as the communication was very simple and smooth via Watshapp. With very quick answers, a good understanding of the needs and a very fair price in my opinion. Then the team was on top from start to finish. Our two guides, Sabby and Israel were great. Very attentive and patient because the language barrier did not always help (I do not speak good English). The porter team and our chef Walter were equally amazing. A real team, always with a smile. This climb was possible thanks to all these people, this kindness and the attention of our guides. I absolutely do not regret my choice at the company level, it was really great. For the safari, the parks were incredible and the animals were on the rendezvous, so the experience was magical in these points. Thanks to them

We had an amazing experience with Heroes Adventures! From day one, they were communicative and really paid attention to what our group needed. We loved that gear rental was optional and flexible, which was a huge help for members of our group who didn't want to haul heavy equipment. The guides were the real stars—they managed our different energy levels perfectly and made sure nobody being left behind! They were strictly focused on safety and never rushed us or cut corners. If you go, make sure to tip your guides and porters well; they are the backbone of the trip!

Kili Heroes was attentive and communicative throughout the booking process, paying attention to what I needed and my schedule. I rented gear from them, and it was useful since I was coming off a long trip away from home. It saved me from having to lug a bunch of gear with me. Although one of the rentals was defective, my guide DAVID @David_the_guide on instagram - was the absolute GOAT in getting me a replacement while on the trek. He paid close attention to my pace and energy levels - ensuring that we not only made it to the top at the crack of dawn before anyone else - but also that we did not get injured or cut any corners at all. Tip your porters and guide well.

From the minute Evarist what’s apped me back I knew it was the right operator for me. Promptly replied to all my concerns and filled me with confidence that I chose Kilimanjaro heroes adventures. We were supposed to be doing the trek first and then the safari, however, through no fault of KHA our luggage didn’t arrive at Kilimanjaro airport. We were distraught, however, after a long conversation with Evarist late at night he organised the safari first. Gladly our baggage arrived and we were able to use our own luggage to complete the 8 day lemosho trip. We were fed well by our chef, porters were great and our experienced guides kept us informed of what they expected from us and expertly prepared us to complete the summit of Kilimanjaro safely. Would definitely recommend them to family and friends.

Summit night was on February 5, and I successfully reached Uhuru Peak. We had an incredible experience with our guides and support group. I honestly feel that we would not have reached the summit without their dedication and professionalism. Everything was carefully planned. Wenci and Maulid, our guides, were there to assist us every step of the way. Our cook, Boko, prepared excellent meals throughout the trek. Everyone on our team was extremely helpful. If I had to make this trek again, I would go with Kilimanjaro Heroes. The whole experience exceeded our expectations.
