My family and I had an absolutely fantastic safari tour with Alphadean Tours and Safaris, expertly arranged by our wonderful tour consultant, Jemimah. From the very beginning, Jemimah was incredibly helpful, patiently addressing all our questions about the practical aspects of our upcoming safari. Her support didn't stop there—during our roundtrip, Jemimah was always there for us, promptly resolving any inquiries and happily rearranging our itinerary based on our wishes. We had a bit of a hiccup with our luggage being delayed from the flight, but Jemimah took care of everything. While we were enjoying the stunning wildlife, she ensured our luggage was picked up from the airport and delivered directly to us on the tour. Thanks to Jemimah and Alphadean Tours and Safaris, our safari was smooth, enjoyable, and unforgettable. Highly recommended!

The trip for July 2024 was canceled without comment. I have already booked domestic flights and hotels after confirmation... As far as not dealing with customers.

Choose Alphadean!!!! We had the most amazing experience! As we planned the trip, Jemimah did everything in her power to make us feel comfortable, and to personalize our trip to include some extras like visiting the Giraffe Center! When we landed in Kenya, our guide Boniface was waiting for us outside the terminal, and we spent the 7 days with Boniface - and we cried saying goodbye! That man exudes love for his job, and made our trip so special! We chose a budget safari, and stayed at Miti Mingi at Masai Mara- we loved the staff, and made new friends! This camp is the "roughest," because sometimes a lizard will climb through the attached bathroom (has openings) into the bungalow, but as animal lovers we thought it was rad, and you can zip up the sleeping side and nothing made it onto the other side. We really preferred the bungalows over the hotels, because it feels like you're in a local community! Near Amboseli we stayed in the Nyati camp - in the most beautiful safari bungalow you could ever imagine! The staff were awesome, and the food throughout the entire trip was really good! Try a bite of everything! As an ADHD girly, I really appreciated that Boniface gave us some time to walk or hike or explore, or picnic every day so we could stretch and enjoy the sun- it helps break up long safari rides - and Boniface will work around the clock if you are enjoying the adventure! I cannot emphasize how well taken care of we were - Boniface went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, safe, and to show us the world. I cannot wait to go on Safari again someday <3 We love you Kenya and Boniface!!! Things you should bring (we had a single backpack each) - Toilet paper and wet wipes (sometimes rural places run out) - Shampoo/Cond/shower stuff / hand sanitizer - Laundry soap (we hand washed our clothes and left to dry during the day) - A flashlight for night time at camp - Binoculars (we bought on Amazon) - Extra extra extra shillings - there is sooooo many things to buy and try and extra tours you should do! For example, the Back to Africa Island tour was $80 usd in shillings, but SO WORTH IT - Tip money for every camp, and $20usd/day/pp for the main guide if you can afford it (we are students and gave less, but Boniface deserved the most) - Spray your outer layers with Permethrin before you leave - I got one bug bite the entire week! - A Tupperware container! Some mornings, breakfast was early and we would take it to go :) - A long USB phone charging cord for the safari car PS- don't be a d*ck! The only negative experience we had on safari were talking with other travelers in other groups. Pay your park guides, tip the staff, don't be so arrogant!!! Everyone from Kenya was beyond kind, but the Fr*nch..... oy vey lol - BE NICE and be thankful for this experience!!!

From the beginning a person from the office (Jemimah) was in contact with us to clarify doubts via WhatsApp. They fulfilled all the commitments (collection, accommodation, requests) and helped us in everything. Rafael was our guide in Spanish and accompanied us every day in the different groups we were with. Although we managed in English was a pro to count on Rafael because he explains much more about the parks, the reality of Kenya, integrates you, helps you in everything and also, is very nice! I recommend that you ask me to be your guide directly! The vans they use are a maximum of 7 people but try to distribute to people to enjoy the trip. From my point of view, it is not worth choosing the option of doing it individually and yes in improving some accommodation. But wow, with the basic pack it's okay if you know what you're going for.

Me and my friend really enjoyed our time in Kenya on safari. Our consultant was at all times Jemimah, who went out of her way (even outside of work hours) to make sure we were comfortable on our trip! Cannot recommend this person enough, if you are in doubt on how to handle your Kenya safari! Additionally, she also arranged a one day trip in Nairobi for the sights and a long 5 day trekking tour on Mount Kenya, which all were great in their own right! We also added a Tanzanian safari through Jemimah, but this was a bit more offhand as we used a Tanzanian travel agent through her, I believe our contact was Miss Evelyn. However, it would be harder to recommend this part, not because of Alphadean, but because of the company used down in Tanzania, who unfortunately were not very good. Regardless of the experience in Tanzania mentioned above, we still highly recommend Alphadean to anyone looking for a great budget experience in Kenya. And you can be sure you’re in good hands with Jemimah helping you with your trip!
