Dit is een echt iconische tour voor liefhebbers van de historische bezienswaardigheden en de verhalen over de Amerikaans-Vietnamoorlog. Als je de Cu Chi-tunnels bezoekt, heb je de kans om getuige te zijn van de unieke architectuur en structuur en te begrijpen waarom het een belangrijke rol speelt in de geschiedenis van Vietnam. Geloof het of niet, er waren ziekenhuizen, scholen, theaters en keukens, allemaal ingebouwd in dit buitengewone tunnelnetwerk. De ingangen van deze tunnels waren bedekt met een geheime houten deur en camouflagebladeren erboven. Het formaat is zo klein dat alleen Vietnamezen erin passen.

Tour start om 8.00 uur of 12.30 uur, met pick-up aanbieding voor gasten die verblijven in Central District 1 hotel. Op weg naar de tunnels ziet u onderweg het prachtige uitzicht op het platteland. Ongeveer 1,5 uur rijden, arriveren bij Cu Chi Tunnels, zullen de gasten meer leren over de geschiedenis en de ontberingen die dit land tijdens de oorlog heeft meegemaakt verkennen. U bekijkt een korte documentaire van Cu Chi tijdens de oorlog. Bezoek boobytraps gebruikt tijdens oorlogstijd. Kruip op korte afstand door een van de tunnels. Maak kennis met het typische gerecht tijdens de oorlog "tapioca' en drink pandanbladeren thee. U kunt ook proberen een aantal geweer schieten met een AK - 47 (optioneel op eigen kosten)

Great experience, sweetest people around, must try the shooting and going under tunnels, tour guide explained everything so well, very interesting!
Very well organised tour. Very unique experience. Bao is a highly knowledgeable and excellent tour guide. Much appreciate the personal stories/anecdotes combined with the history, science, political/war and other aspects of the story of the Cu Chi Tunnels. The one thing I'd warn travellers to be careful about is that the items at the craft factory run by handicapped workers are maybe around or more than twice the prices of the same type of items at other stores (though I don't claim to understand the difference in quality). Kids should be pre warned to not touch things they shouldn't and such, as there are sharp objects on display at the tunnels.

Very easy to find the start location, next to 7/11 and family mart to pick up snacks/lunch beforehand. Bus ride was comfortable with good A/C. Stop on the way to Agent Orange centre where they make bowls/ souvenirs. Arrived all tickets included. Tour was great saw all the attractions did the hidden tunnels seen on TikTok ect. Saw the different traps. Passed by gun range, ended by walking through the tunnels. Guide was incredible spoke good English and was entertaining. Smaller group than others so would Recommend.
Really good experience, to be honest Typhoon Honey did an amazing job as a guide and a fun day. For me it's a thing you must do, it's simple but interesting and a good way to understand the history and lifestyle at that time. 100% recommend and good price.
