Zie Auckland's wilde kant tijdens deze halve dag tour vanuit Auckland. Bezoek de iconische vulkaan Mt Eden voor een 360 graden uitzicht over de stad voordat je naar Piha Beach reist. Wandel over het zwarte zand en maak vervolgens een begeleide wandeling door het regenwoud naar de Karekare Falls, waar je meer te weten komt over de inheemse planten en dieren van Nieuw-Zeeland. Bezoek een familiebedrijf voor een gratis proeverij van vijf boetiekwijnen, met de mogelijkheid om te blijven lunchen, of haal een kleinere snack op bij een lokale bakkerij (inclusief wijnproeverij; lunch is uw eigen kosten). Aan het einde van de tour kunnen we je overal in de stad afzetten, bij de dierentuin of het museum, of op het strand van Mission Bay.

De eerste stop van je tour is de iconische vulkaan Mount Eden. Bekijk de krater en leer meer over de vulkanen van Auckland en zijn eerste bewoners.
Geniet van het uitzicht vanaf de uitkijkpost voordat u verder gaat naar het strand. Geniet van een wandeling op het zwarte zand en duik je voeten in de Tasmanzee, als je durft!
Maak een korte wandeling door het regenwoud naar Karekare Falls. Leer over inheemse planten en houd je ogen open voor vogels.
Geniet van een proeverij van vijf boetiekwijnen bij Soljans Estate Winery, en blijf lunchen in hun bistro, of haal een kleinere snack op bij een lokale bakkerij. Let op: de proeverij is inbegrepen maar lunch is op eigen kosten.

We had the best day with Harriet. Very friendly knowledgeable as our first visit to Auckland we saw so much we were so grateful. I didn’t think I could fall in love with New Zealand anymore until I did this tour. Jerome was very knowledgable and catered for my more adventurous nature which helped me spot penguins in a cave! 10/10 - thank you!

Jerome was a great tour guide and, because it was just me, he tailored the tour to what I wanted to see, and we just went with the vibe. The weather was also great so that worked in our favor. I really appreciated this tour company because even though it was just me, they went ahead and ran the tour vs. a bunch of other companies would’ve asked me to switch or cancel. Highly recommend!

We had a fantastic day with our guide, Harriet. She gave us so much insight into Auckland and the history of the city as well as the importance of native species to New Zealand. Each stop was well worth the visit and I’d happily recommend this tour to friends visiting Auckland.
Maddie was the tour guide for this tour. She was a great source of local information. She took us to some really beautiful sites and had a lot of patience with my slow walking and many questions. The beach, waterfall and Mt Eden were spectacularly beautiful and I really appreciate being able to see them on my one day in Auckland. The wine tasting venue was lovely and the lunch was just perfect. I very much enjoyed the day with Maddie and the small group we had.
