Een deel van de rijke cultuur van Thailand zit ingebakken in al zijn heerlijke traditionele gerechten. Neem in deze activiteit deel aan een leuke en informatieve rondleiding die je meeneemt op een lokale marktreis waar je al je ingrediënten voor je geplande kookles zult vinden! Kies een ochtend- of avondcursus en begin aan een reis die u kennis zal laten maken met het Akha-volk - een gemeenschap die in de jaren 1900 naar Thailand emigreerde - evenals hun tradities en een combinatie van zowel de Thaise als de Akha-keuken. In de kookcursus maak je 10 heerlijke gerechten die je na de sessie te eten krijgt. Tijdens je maaltijd kun je jezelf volproppen met de soep, loempia's, roerbakgerechten en meer, rechtstreeks uit je keukenstation.

What an incredible day this turned out to be! My husband evening cooking class and I can honestly say it exceeded every expectation. We made 10 different dishes, and let me tell you, keeping track was like counting 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7... 11 if you include the amazing welcome drink they started us with. The spring rolls, the stir fry, that incredible soup - each dish was better than the last. Here's where it gets interesting - halfway through our cooking session, we got hit with a sudden flash flood! Water was rushing down the street, and we were all laughing and scrambling about. But honestly? It just made the whole experience more memorable. The staff handled it like absolute pros and we just kept cooking and having a blast. By the time we sat down to eat everything we'd made, we were absolutely stuffed. I mean STUFFED. The food was phenomenal - that perfect blend of Thai and Akha flavors that you just can't get anywhere else. We could barely move afterward but couldn't stop talking about how amazing everything tasted. Even with Mother Nature throwing us a curveball, this was hands down one of the highlights of our trip to Thailand. The culture, the food, the laughs, the unexpected adventure - it all came together perfectly. Highly recommend!

Excellent and useful cooking class, easy to understand for those of us who are not experts in the kitchen and the chef clearly explains the various dishes.
