In het hart van deze landen bevindt zich het Maasai Mara Game Reserve, algemeen beschouwd als het grootste natuurreservaat van Afrika. Ongetwijfeld het juweel van de natuurreservaten in Kenia, herbergt Maasai Mara de jaarlijkse gnoe (gnu) en zebra-migratie van meer dan 2 miljoen dieren tussen Kenia en Tanzania in de maanden juni-oktober. Lake Nakuru National Park is wereldberoemd als de voedingsgronden van zowel kleinere als grotere flamingo's die zich kunnen onderscheiden door grootte en kleur. Daarnaast zijn er meer dan 400 vogelsoorten te zien in het park. Tussen het meer en de kliffen in het westen, bewonen grote pythons het dichte bos en kunnen vaak worden gezien over de wegen oversteken of bungelend aan bomen. Amboseli is het best bekend als het hart en de thuisbasis van de grootste Afrikaanse olifanten.

The whole tour was just fantastic. Our tour guide Boniface did his best to make it a memorable one. It was easy to communicate with Susan from Sunstrip Africa. She gave all the information I wanted and a good price too. We get to see Lake Naivasha as well. Few things to highlight - The tour schedule kept changing since others in the group had finished the tour earlier so they has to be dropped to Nairobi which made the road trip very long and tiring. The van given had no AC so it was hot while going on long road trips. Would have liked proper meals rather packaged ones.
