Dit is een privétour met een erkende gids en een privé SUV-auto voor jou (geen gezamenlijke tour). Zie de grote tempels van Angkor in één dag. Bekijk alle tempels op één dag rond het Angkor-complex is onmogelijk omdat er meer dan 70 ruïnes zijn in dit archeologische park van Angkor. maar wat we gaan doen en zien is anders en natuurlijk zullen we ze niet allemaal zien, alleen grote tempels!!! We creëren deze unieke manier om al deze tempels zoveel mogelijk minder druk te zien door onze ervaring.

Begin eerst met de tempel Angkor Wat.
Dit is een beroemde tempel van de film Tomb Raider. Ta Prohm (prasat ta prohm) is de moderne naam van de tempel in Angkor, provincie Siem Reap, Cambodja, gebouwd in de Bayon-stijl, grotendeels in de late 12e en vroege 13e eeuw en oorspronkelijk Rajavihara genoemd. Gelegen op ongeveer een kilometer ten oosten van Angkor Thom en aan de zuidelijke rand van de East Baray, werd het gesticht door de Khmer-koning Jayavarman VII als een Mahayana-boeddhistisch klooster en universiteit. In tegenstelling tot de meeste Angkoriaanse tempels, bevindt Ta Prohm zich in vrijwel dezelfde staat als waarin het werd gevonden: de fotogenieke en sfeervolle combinatie van bomen die uit de ruïnes groeien en de jungle-omgeving hebben het tot een van de meest populaire tempels van Angkor bij bezoekers gemaakt. UNESCO schreef Ta Prohm in 1992 op de Werelderfgoedlijst.
Dit is een van de verborgen tempel in dit archeologische park.
De Bayon is een rijkelijk versierde Khmer-tempel in Angkor in Cambodja. Gebouwd in de late 12e of vroege 13e eeuw als de staatstempel van de Mahayana boeddhistische koning Jayavarman VII, staat de Bayon in het centrum van de hoofdstad van Jayavarman, Angkor Thom. in overeenstemming met hun eigen religieuze voorkeuren. Het meest onderscheidende kenmerk van de Bayon is de veelheid van serene en lachende stenen gezichten op de vele torens die uitsteken vanaf het bovenste terras en clusteren rond de centrale piek. [3] De tempel heeft twee sets bas-reliëfs, die een combinatie van mythologische, historische en alledaagse taferelen presenteren. Het belangrijkste conservatoriumorgaan, het Japanse overheidsteam voor de bescherming van Angkor (de JSA), heeft de tempel beschreven als "de meest opvallende uitdrukking van de barokstijl" van de Khmer-architectuur, in tegenstelling tot de klassieke stijl van Angkor Wat.
Pre Rup was opgedragen aan de hindoegod Shiva en bevindt zich waarschijnlijk op een voormalige shiva-ashram, gebouwd door Yasovarman I in de vorige eeuw.[6] Misschien stond het in het centrum van een nieuwe hoofdstad gebouwd door Rajendravarman, met de zuidelijke dijk van East Baray als noordelijke stadsgrens, maar niets van de woningen overleefde [6] en deze "oostelijke stadshypothese" van Philippe Stern werd nooit bevestigd door archeologische vondsten.

I and my friend booked a tour for our 1st day in Angkor, to get good understanding of the place, history and specifics. We deeply enjoyed the tour with Mr. Win Sok: it was full of details on history and architecture, he has shown us the best views and paths, last but not least provided us with a good place to have a lunch. Deep thanks to our driver, who moved us smoothly from one place to another! Angkor amused us deeply, we'll continue to discover it in the nearest days and maybe take some other tour for the countryside as well.
We had a tour with Mr Lux ( Nguon Sominea) and we really enjoyed it. What we liked most is: 1. that the guide was very professional and well-educated with excellent command of English 2. Very friendly and with great photographic skills 3. Time management- we’ve managed to visit many things within a good amount of time which is impossible if we were on a group tour. 4. Wet towels with eucalyptus oil - very refreshing and giving a lot of energy 5. The opportunity to dive deeper in the culture since Mr Lux has a very good knowledge in history and culture. Oh my goodness, what an experience! My second trip to Siem Reap, this time I brought my 82yo dad. I re-booked Lux having used him on our last trip. He’s nothing short of amazing. Two days - he adjusted our agenda for what my dad could cope with. He is extremely knowledgeable but doesn’t bombard you with info. Just perfect. We visited the main temples in the Angkor Wat park, also some smaller less-known ones (my faves!). Also visited the Tonle Sap lake. He took us to lovely local places for coffee breaks and lunches. Can’t wait to return. And will definitely be booking Lux again!

What a fantastic day! Upon request our tour was customized with no problem. We had a leivste van and driver and i could not have asked for more. Very reliable. If i ever need a toir or transportation i no longer have to guess. I would highly recommend ss this was my second tour. I will oc course recommend to anyone. Perfect english was spoken and such a great personality!!!! It did not fel like a tour guide but more like a new local friend. Im very happy

It was our second visit to Angkor Wat abd we wanted it to be different. We knew Lux from our previous trip where we did the Siem Reap city tour. We discussed our expectations with him and he proposed a one day tour taking this consideration. Lux is very knowledgeable, friendly and flexible guide. We used Lux and a driver for a tour of the major temples. We did not want to see the sunrise so Lux suggested a sunset to finish, which worked really well for us. Also, we had friends with us that have limited mobility and Lux was able to obtain permission to get our vehicle across the more and right up to Angkor Eat which was "above & beyond" expectations. Consequently, we would very highly recommend Lux and all his knowledge.

This was an excellent tour. Our guide, Heang, was brilliant--encyclopedic memory of Hindu and Buddhist pantheons of gods and iconography, and a passionate way of recounting the myths and philosophies behind them. The vehicle was very comfortable, tour was well paced, with breaks from the hot sun, and Heang was flexible and accomodated to our interests and needs. Highly recommended.
