I booked my one day Iguazu trip with this company and it was nothing but a nightmare dealing with them. Not only did I find out after the fact that they had over charged me for this trip, but they also had no compassion when I fell sick and was throwing up the morning of my trip. All they said was I'm sorry, we cannot modify your trip and no monies would be reimbursed. I asked to go another day and they said I would have to pay the full amount again. This was mainly a service and not an actual product I purchased. Having worked as a senior level manager in a Fortune 500 company for many years, I know there are many ways to handle and satisfy a client and that exceptions can always be made. Never will I ever use this company again in the future. They have lost my business along with many of the people that I recommend things to in my travel network.
Hello TrekBroker, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re truly sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. At Say Hueque, we always aim to be as flexible and understanding as possible. However, in cases where cancellations are made outside the scope of our policies, especially at the last minute it’s not always possible to reschedule or offer a refund, as many of the services involved are non-refundable on our end too. Regarding the pricing, we ensure our packages reflect the standard rates for this type of experience, this package is in line with market prices. We appreciate you taking the time to express your concerns and will certainly keep your comments in mind as we continue working to offer the best possible service. Kind regards
This trip was a once in a lifetime....one of the best trips I have ever taken and I have been from the Arctic Circle to Africa to Antarctica!! Iguazu Falls was INCREDIBLE...and so was Luna, who arranged our custom tour. We wanted to see both sides of the falls (and were SO glad we did...if you are only to go one time in your life PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do both ...we also did the river trip on both sides and both were totally different and amazing!!). Luna did everything we asked including booking our flights from two different airports. We arrived in EZE from the US and went on to Iguazu from EZE . But we returned to AEP. She customized our entire trip. And it was all very reasonably priced!
Hi Maplelici Thank you very much for taking the time for sharing your experience with us. As you say, both sides of the falls are really amazing and visiting both is a plus to know this magnificent place in the world. It is our main goal to give our passengers memorable trips and we are really glad to know we achieved it! We hope to see you again in Argentina! Best regards Ayelen
When you've seen these waterfalls, you don't forget that all your life. I was at the Hatel on the Brazilian side. Which is cheaper than Argentina. Unfortunately, as everywhere, it has become a tourist molehole. But still a unique experience !
Hi lump007! Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review of your travel experience with us! We always love hearing about our travelers' adventures in our beautiful country! Iguazú Falls, in particular, is such a breathtaking natural wonder that we think everyone should experience at least once in their lifetime. We hope that you'll come back and explore with us again soon. :) Best Wishes, Clara
Everything was well organized and went according to plan. There was a workers strike going on when we arrived at the airport which concerned us about being able to connect with our guide bit had our problems. They had it all worked out. Our agent was extremely helpful and responsive. Had a wonderful time. Iguazú Falls is a must see with Say Hueque.
Michael, The waterfalls are one of the best places to visit in the world for sure. That is good to know that despite of the strike you had no problems to connect with your guide. Thanks to mention that our team is working responsibly and everything went well.
Say Hueque did a wonderful job. They individualized our visit to Buenos Aires and Iguazú Falls. Sandra was an exceptional guide in Buenos Aires. She brought the history of this beautiful city alive for us. We felt very well taken care of!
Arlyce, Thank you so much for your review. Cataratas is one of the most beautiful landscapes in the world. Sandra, your guide in Buenos Aires is great and knows everything about Buenos Aires.
Experience is great. Sufficient time to explore. The Tour guide arranged everything well. Worry-free.
Edmond, Thank you very much for your comments, Worry - free is the best concept of a great travel. I hope you can come back in order to discover more new places and have all kinds of good experiences.
The being able to see all the falls, the boat ride into the falls,. Hotel recommendations were great.
I am glad that you have enjoyed the falls. The boat ride is really fun. I hope you come back soon!
We used Say Hueque for an Iguazu Falls tour before starting a cruise out of Buenos Aires. Agustin did a great job setting everything up and answering our many questions. Everything worked to perfection (all airport/hotel/falls transfers). Gustavo was our private guide at the falls every day. He spoke very good English and had a great knowledge of the falls and surrounding area. The hotels were great, especially the Alvear Palace in Buenos Aires. Iguazu Falls is a "must see" trip for anyone visiting Argentina, and Say Hueque is the way to go.
Hello! Thanks for taking the time to write this wonderful review. We are glad you enjoyed your tour through Buenos Aires and Iguazú Falls. Both are incredible destinations. Agustin and Gustavo are amazing, we are really proud of our team. Hope to see you soon in South America. Best regards, Clara
Would recommend this company. They are responsive, friendly and professional. Always leaving us a telephone number with someone on call at all times. Well organized!
It’s painful to give such a low rating, because Iguazu Falls is a beautiful place. The experience on the buses was dreadful. The reclining seats were fine, but the food was sub-par (basically carb overload; no fruit or vegetables). We were over an hour late getting to Iguazu, and in cases like this, YOU are expected to contact the local tour provider to reschedule your transfer to your hotel, which is hard to do with a foreign cell phone and spotty service out in the countryside. The tours themselves were fine; although the entirety of the “great adventure” boat excursion took much longer than expected (there is a total of approximately 50 minutes of driving to and from the site), which did not allow adequate time for lunch for those who chose to do it. A few people even opted out of the final walk on the upper trail so that they could eat. I enjoyed the Brazilian side tour more; although on both tours there was a lot of “you can go ahead and wait for me” from the guides, which can be awkward because you don’t always know how far you should be going. The bus ride back to Buenos Aires was the worst part. We were stranded for over 3 hours in the middle of nowhere with no explanation (at least not in English), which made us VERY late getting back into the city, which ruined my plans for that afternoon/evening. The food was slightly better this time, but this in no way makes up for the lost time at the tail end of my vacation. Please note that I do NOT blame Viator, Say Hueque, or Eco Iguazu for the bus issues; it is not their fault. But I implore anyone thinking of visiting Iguazu Falls to consider booking a tour where you fly there, rather than taking a bus. If you do take this tour and choose to do the boat excursion, I recommend bringing a snack for after. On a positive note, the hotel I stayed at was great.
Hello Megan, First of all, thank you for letting us know about this. We are truly sorry to hear that your experience was not of the quality you expected. And it's true that distances in Argentina tend to be huge in many cases. We appreciate you bringing this issue to our attention and notices that in this case our services were well provided. Otherwise we are going to share this immediately with our local provider in Iguazu. We are sure that all this information will help us all improve the way we inform and advise every traveler. Until then, please accept our sincerest apologies on behalf of everyone on the team. Kindest regards, Ana
