This was a wonderful trip from start to finish. From initial contact to the end of the trip. I cannot say enough about how wonderful our guide Ombeni was. We saw 35 animals witnessed the great migration. He shared his knowledge of the history of Tanzania and the animals we saw. I would recommend both Gosheni and Ombeni for your safari

From initial contact to the flight home, every step of the safari experience with Gosheni was handled with attentiveness and care. Norah quickly responded to all of our questions over the months of planning leaving is feeling assured for our group of five. The lodging was always comfortable and the meals delicious. If we needed help picking up extra clothes in Arusha, or killing time between our final safari flight and the evening flight heading home, she helped us figure everything out. Even better than the organization was the safari itself. Our guide, Ombeni, was a master of the Serengeti. We could not have been in better hands. His experience and connections with all of the other guides is only matched by his kindness. Not only did we see all of the big 5 animals in the first three days, we also saw the great migration of wildebeests perfectly timed. He knows exactly where to go and when and every other guide we passed knows him and reveres him with such admiration and respect. Request him by name and have a safari of a lifetime!

This was a life changing tour. Ombeni is an incredible tour guide. Apart from being friendly, easy-going, and flexible, he was incredibly knowledgeable and knew where to find ALL the animals. We saw more wildlife in the Serengeti than any other tour happening around us. I can’t recommend Ombeni and Gosheni enough.

10 out of 10 experience. Saw everything we wanted to see and more, including a great migration river crossing, lions, cheetahs, and leopards. Ombeni was the best guide, always getting us in the right place at the right time. I would recommend him and Gosheni to anyone who’s interested in experiencing all that the Serengeti and Tanzania has to offer.

Unbelievable safari for our family. From start to finish it was an incredible experience. It was all of our first time in Africa and completely unforgettable. We were able to see the big 5, the great migration, and multiple close encounters with chetahs, giraffes and elephants. The jeep was air conditioned, had charging stations, and WiFi. All of our accommodations were beautiful, clean and the food was delicious. Lunches were packed daily and served hot. I can not recommend our tour guide, Ombeni, enough. He knew all of the right spots to bring us, treated our family with such care throughout our safari.

Once Gosheni always Gosheni! This is my third safari with Gosheni and I would never book with another agency. With Gosheni you are sure you will get the best service and the best lodges. Plus, if like me you ask for Zadock to be your driver you will get the best safari driver on top. His experience and knowledge is amazing, and this time he managed to make us see a huge river crossing in the northern Serengeti even though we had just one day. It simply cannot be better…

Gosheni made sure we had comfortable rooms and camps, as we had 3 little girls with us. the girls enjoyed alot, watching animals early mornings and at night near the fire they rabbits , antelopes and buffalos. The food was good my family was having great time no complaint.

Gosheni arranged a perfectly well organized tour touching Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara. Accommodations were top as well as meals during the safari. It has been a great experience. We definitely recommend this tour operator. Thanks to our guide Inno

We liked it very much. The camps are great above our expectations with great service. Our guide Comfort was very flexible in our daily plan and took great care of our positive impressions. In a situation where our car had a minor failure, it immediately found another Gosheni car for us, which we joined for the afternoon game. It is at such moments that you can see professionalism and customer care. It was also evident that he was driving in parks as if in his own garden, looking for animals away from other cars. Our landcriuser was very comfortable (4 seater). Lots of legroom. I recommend Gosheni and our driver/guide Comfort. Thank you Gosheni - see you next year.

Our tour guide Albert was great. The upgraded Lodges were incredible. We saw the big five and the safari exceeded all of our expectations. Until Zanzibar. We added a Zanzibar resort to the end of our safari for relaxation, to include transfers. Upon our arrival to Zanzibar we were left stranded at the airport. We managed to secure a ride - at our own expense of &20. In Stone City there were several communications back and forth about the next day’s tour guide. Spoiler - we were meant to start at 0900. Guide showed up at 9:20. We were given a walking tour - guide was less than enthusiastic and felt like he was just going thru the motions. We were also scheduled for a spice tour. Just never happened. We were then transferred to our beach resort. Upon arrival to the resort we had a lovely time. A bit disappointing that we couldn’t leisurely walk the beach as the sales people were aggressive and wouldn’t take a polite no. The staff was overwhelming friendly and the resort was great. Per our arrangements we were meant to be picked up at 8:30pm. Again the driver was a NO SHOW. The resort secured a taxi to the airport for us - we paid $90. Soo disappointing that the wonderful memories of zebras and giraffes were replaced being stranded. We reached out to our agent, Nora, upon return. She apologized. But did not offer to compensate us for the $110 out of pocket or refund the cost of the spice tour. I would not recommend this safari company. There are sooo many others to chose from. Do better GoSheni.
