One of the Best tours we have had. The tour gave us an in depth experience of all the destinations on the tour. We enjoyed the narrow alleys of Fes, camping in the Sahara and visiting Marrakech. The road trips were also great fun seeing the countryside...
My wife and I had a private 5 day tour from Casablanca, Tangiers, Chefchaouen and Fez with our wonderful guide Younes. We felt absolutely safe the whole time and hips attention to detail was amazing. We experienced many local things such as the street food, camel riding and markets. The driving was very comfortable and we saw many tourist sites in a very short time. We would highly recommend his tours due to his experience and manner.
Younes was our driver and general guide. He was friendly and helpful, and we didn't have any problems communicating with him in English (which, btw, isn't really even required education in Morocco, though some primary schools have recently started with it; so, take what you can get). He was very helpful in arranging extracurricular things like Covid testing, good places to eat (we didn't get sick while there, which is always a plus), etc.. Note that most tour companies have agreements with certain restaurants, and this one seems no different. If you really want to eat somewhere or do something else, just make that very clear and I can't really see them refusing to help you (why risk the negative feedback? also, almost everything can become a discussion if you aren't careful; so, again, firm clarity). The tour was great. Due to Covid-19 closures, our itinerary was modified such that we stayed a night in Tangier rather than Asilah. I think Asilah would have been nicer (Tangier was noisy and people generally seemed more pushy there than a lot of other places), but what can you do? Chefchauoen was the highlight, followed by Fes. Rabat was cool for its history. Casablanca, Tangier, and Meknes were just OK. We also ended up spontaneously adding transportation (with Younes) to Marrakech for the second part of our stay in-country. Originally, we'd planned to take the train, and it would have been *much* cheaper, but it was going to strain our trip timeline, add taxi hassles, etc.. One thing I will note is that Younes pushed a bit more abrasively than usual for us to do the private transport when we mentioned we were headed there, and I politely refused a couple times. However, we ultimately opted for it because it just made things a lot easier on us. I'm guessing he pushed it because he's from there (get paid to drive yourself home? why not). Overall, we very much enjoyed this trip and Morocco.
Thank you for your feedback, which gives us more energy to keep going, we are really happy to know that you fully enjoyed your trip with us. We hope to see you soon and show you other places!
