Wit talkachtig zand en kristalhelder water: dit zijn de kenmerken die Long Bay tot een van de populairste stranden van het eiland maken. Beroemd om zijn zeebodem, handige plek om te snorkelen met de door ons aangeboden uitrusting. Voor degenen die graag willen ontspannen, kunt u van deze halte profiteren om romantische wandelingen te maken of om uit te rusten in de schaduw van een boom.
Eén van de belangrijkste natuurlijke trekpleisters die Antigua beroemd heeft gemaakt in de wereld is veruit het bad met de pijlstaartroggen in hun stad midden in de zee: Stingray City. Om het punt te bereiken waar deze buitengewone en vriendelijke dieren zich bevinden, moet u een snelle boot nemen voor een duur van 8 minuten per enkele reis. Zodra we aankomen, kunnen we het water in gaan waar je het aanraakt en de hoogte zal 1,40 meter zijn. Rassen zijn zeer sociale en helemaal geen gevaarlijke dieren. Ze zullen worden gestreeld en aangekeken, zodat ze ze kunnen voeden. Bedenk dat ze zich in hun natuurlijke habitat bevinden, zonder kooien of netten.

De vergadertijd kan een paar minuten eerder of later zijn dan de tijd die op uw reservering staat. U ontvangt een bevestigingsbericht via Viator/Tripadvisor met de exacte vergadertijd. Uw Gids zal u ontmoeten bij de receptie van uw resort, of u ontvangt een bericht met vermelding van het meest geschikte nabijgelegen ontmoetingspunt. Als u geen communicatie van ons ontvangt, ontmoet dan uw Gids bij de receptie van uw resort op het tijdstip dat op uw reservering staat vermeld. CRUISESCHIPPASSAGIERS: Het ontmoetingspunt bevindt zich voor de EXOTIC ANTIGUA shop, op slechts 1 minuut lopen van de pier van het cruiseschip. Je kunt het iedereen in de haven vragen – zij kunnen je er naartoe leiden. De winkel ligt aan de boulevard, direct aan het water.

Keanu was a great driver and guide. He’s very knowledgeable and took great care of everyone on the tour. As for Stingray City, it was the highlight of our trip according to my kids.
Nice excursion with Marco who took us to these wonderful places and meanwhile explained the history of the rays and the place to us.
The experience was fascinating. Completed by Greta's grace and experience, they made it truly unforgettable. The natural pool with the stingrays is top-notch, beautiful beach and devil's bridge!!
Unique experience. And to think that I was afraid and didn't want to do it. The guys from the tour convinced me. Marco made me fall in love with the rays by letting me hold them in my arms and cuddle them. An incredible thing.

We had an amazing experience visiting Stingray City, Devil's Bridge and Long Bay Beach in Antigua! The tour was well organized and each stop was beautiful and worth seeing. A special thank you to our guide, Martina. She was incredibly friendly, helpful and caring throughout the entire tour. I was very nervous about going into the water with the stingrays but Martina was so patient and reassuring that she helped me feel comfortable enough to enjoy the experience. I'm so glad I did as it ended up being one of the highlights of the trip! Martina also shared interesting facts about Antigua and explained the history and significance of the places we visited. It was clear she genuinely cared about making sure everyone had a great time and learned something along the way. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Antigua. It was a wonderful experience, made even better by such a knowledgeable and compassionate guide. Thank you, Martina for making our day so memorable!
Antigua calls Italy; they accompanied us to discover Antigua from the very first day. They provide a fantastic service; they picked us up at the airport and took us to the hotel. Martina told us a lot about the island during the journey. We decided to participate in two outings, swimming with the rays and Green Island. The first one with Greta, super professional, allowed us to see the Devil's Bridge and Long Beach as well. Greta has lived on the island for more than two years, so she is very well prepared. The next day we went to Green Island with Marco. I can't describe that half day. Paradise island; on the beach, we were the only ones from the group (4 tourists + Marco and the guy from the boat), so it felt like a dream, and swimming just a meter away from the free turtles in their habitat is something incredible. Then hiking with Marco, a marine biologist, made everything even more special. He conveyed all his passion to us and especially answered my countless questions. I can only recommend them!
Marco picked us up on time and made us feel comfortable form the start. His knowledge of the area of Antigua and detailed itinerary of the day was excellent and really exceeded our expectations. The Journey to Stingray City was pleasant and the experience of holding and swimming with the stingrays was incredible. We then headed to Devils Bridge for photos before heading to a local beach. All in all the trip was just over 5hours but the time flew. The crew at Stingray City were fab too and if you want to get up close then book this tour. Well worth the time and money!
What an amazing experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable, making everyone feel completely at ease before we headed out to meet the stingrays. They explained everything clearly, including how to interact with the stingrays safely, and shared fascinating information about their behaviour, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The stingrays were so gentle and clearly well accustomed to human interaction. Being able to feed, touch, and even hold them was an unforgettable experience. The water was crystal clear and shallow, making it easy and enjoyable for everyone to take part. This was without a doubt one of the highlights of my holiday and an excursion I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Antigua. A special thank you to Chris Stewart for organising everything.
