Beschrijving
Beginnend in Zattere, Dorsoduro, varen we via Giudecca Island en San Michele naar Murano, waar een glasoven staat. Vervolgens verkennen we Burano, bekend om zijn levendige huizen en kantwerk, voordat we naar Mazzorbo en Torcello gaan, de eerste nederzetting van de lagune waar we een prachtig landschap en een wild uitzicht op de lagune hebben. Vervolgens bezoeken we het oude monnikeneiland San Francesco del Deserto, voordat we via het Arsenale terugkeren naar Venetië, met een panoramisch uitzicht op het San Marcplein.

The "Venice and Northern Gems" tour was the highlight of our Venice trip. Francesco was an exceptional guide, showing us all around the area aboard his beautifully restored classic Venice work boat. It was really special to see and learn about sections of the lagoon that we would not have seen otherwise. We absolutely recommend!
Beginning our Venice vacation with this extraordinary boat tour was the best possible choice. Captain Francesco gave us his expert commentary as he showed us around the various islands of Venice, including a lovely stroll through the unique shops in Burano and an incredible experience at the glass-making factory in Murano. The tour provided a valuable orientation as we began our trip, and Francesco guided us on how to get the most from our stay in Venice. He even offered incredible restaurant and bar suggestions outside the typical tourist areas, which gave us a deeper experience of the local community. He also took great pains to personalize our tour based on our particular schedule and sightseeing desires. When we learned that the winery we wanted to visit in Mazzorbo was closed on the day of our tour, he arranged instead for us to have a private tasting experience at another vineyard. The day spent on his boat was magical, and he couldn’t have been nicer, more professional, or more helpful to us.
