Haal het meeste uit je tijd in Rio tijdens een privérondleiding van 4 uur, ideaal voor diegenen die niet veel tijd beschikbaar hebben, maar een korte samenvatting van de stad willen hebben. Ontdek de meest iconische attracties van de stad terwijl je geniet van het gezelschap van een tweetalige lokale gids. Geniet van een levendige dag vol populaire attracties zoals de stranden van Copacabana en Ipanema, het Maracanã-stadion (buiten), de Selarón-trap en het historische centrum. Bezoek daarnaast de Corcovado-berg samen met het standbeeld van Christus de Verlosser en andere bezienswaardigheden. Passeer de Boheemse wijk Santa Teresa, waar een verzameling lokale boetieks en galerieën te vinden zijn. Ga langs het Maracana-stadion, een van de belangrijkste ter wereld. Bezoek aan de Sambadrome, de sambalocatie waar de beroemde carnavalsoptocht van Rio wordt gehouden. Hierna ga je naar het centrum van Rio om de lokale cultuur te proeven langs de Lapa-bogen, het museum van morgen en het Mauá-plein. Aan het einde van de tour word je afgezet bij het hotel

Je wordt in je hotel opgewacht door je privégids en gaat met de auto naar de voet van de Corcovado-berg, onderweg langs de stranden van Rio en de Rodrigo de Freitas-lagune.
Als je de wijk Cosme Velho bereikt, neem je een unieke Zwitserse tandradtrein die de berg beklimt van de basis tot bijna de top. De top wordt bereikt door een trap te beklimmen om bij het iconische standbeeld van Christus de Verlosser te komen. Het uitzicht, vanaf dit uitkijkpunt, met het omliggende Tijuca National Forest dat zich naar beneden uitstrekt en een cirkel van bergen die de horizon helemaal achter in de baai van Guanabara sluiten, is werkelijk spectaculair. Na een tijdje rondgelopen te hebben en foto's te maken, gaan we terug naar beneden.
Van Santa Teresa tot Lapa zijn er de beroemde Selaron-trappen, een trap versierd met kleurrijke tegels. "Lapa" staat bekend om zijn energieke Boheemse sfeer en is het meest bruisende gebied in de stad, zowel overdag als 's nachts.
Heb je ooit gehoord van de wijk Lapa? Zo niet, dan moet het! Het is heel gemakkelijk om te weten dat u in Lapa bent aangekomen. Er is een beroemd monument dat het officiële beeld is van Lapa, de grote witte bogen aquaduct ansichtkaart van Rio.
Zie een andere kant van Rio in het opkomende Porto Maravilha-gebied, symbool van het vernieuwde Rio na de Olympische Spelen.
Bewonder de prachtige hypermoderne museumstructuur, ontworpen door de beroemde architect Santiago Calatrava.
Muurschildering geschilderd door Eduardo Kobra, door het Guinness Book of Records vermeld als de grootste graffiti ter wereld.
De Sambodrome is de thuisbasis van het carnaval van Rio, waar de parades elk jaar gedurende drie nachten plaatsvinden, een betonnen structuur die speciaal voor het carnaval is gebouwd. Het is een laan met tribunes aan beide kanten, verdeeld in sectoren.
Ga langs het strand van Copacabana dat werd geïnspireerd door liedjes en poëzie, en een van de beroemdste ansichtkaarten in Brazilië. Copacabana is ook het toneel van een van de grootste oudejaarsavond ter wereld, de buurt van Rio de Janeiro heeft veel geschiedenis, cultureel leven en bohemen.

Fun guide , knowledgeable and she was able to show us all the highlights in 4 hours. We even stopped for a local snack . Easy pick up from the airport . Prompt response before arrival with any of my questions and concerns.
I was barely staying 1 day in Rio and wanted to get a sense of the city. The tour guide, Antonio, put together a perfectly timed program with all the things I wanted to see. He arrived with a driver at the hotel; this meant that we could be dropped off and walk through parts of the town and then being picked up again by the driver at a different location, without wasting time. Things, like buying tickets (i.e. Corcovado Mountain ) went so smooth and stress-free thanks Antonio's experience. I highly recommend using Gregtur Tourism: trustworthy and good communication.

What an amazing time we had with Camila in Rio! Our flight was late and luggage took forever, but there she was waiting with a sign and a huge smile. We thought she would drive us around, but to our delight she introduced us to Junior, our personal driver. We had 2 great people serving just the 2 of us as if we were long lost family - sharing their stories and showing us the beauty and wonder of their home city, Rio de Janiero. When clouds prevented some planned views, they had quick alternatives lined up so we wouldn’t miss a thing. We even got to try the ‘best’ cheese bread in Rio from a small stall in Santa Teresa - along with a delicious Açaí smoothie. We were treated like royalty for well over four hours and we delivered, along with our luggage, directly to our hotel. Camila also volunteered to answer any questions we may have about Brazil (and even Moscow, where she’s lived for a while) in the future .., we made a friend and learned (and laughed) a lot with Camila and Junior. A simply wonderful experience all around!!

The title and description of this tour captures the eye despite the slightly higher price. However, it is all MISLEADING. The guide was hardly fluent in english, and little knowledgable about the city and tour. She announced the end of tour already at Escadaria Selaron stairs. After confronting her with the tour description we have visited: Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon (Pass By) Corcovado - Christ the Redeemer Santa Teresa Escadaria Selaron Carioca Aqueduct (Pass By) Boulevard Olimpico Museu do Amanha (Pass By) Painel Etnias (Pass By) while there was no way we could accomplish the rest of the promised tour: Sambodromo da Marques de Sapucai Maracana Ipanema Beach (Pass By) Copacabana Beach (Pass By)

To accommodate your location, we extended the tour duration to 5 hours and arranged for a pickup in Niteroi. During your tour, you visited several iconic places, including the Selarón steps with a 20-minute stop, Christ the Redeemer with a 40-minute visit, and Boulevard Olympic, among others. It's important to note that our tour description specifies that for most places listed, we provide a pass-by experience rather than making extended stops. This is clearly outlined in the tour description. Unfortunately, due to your location in Niteroi and the late booking during rush hour, we were unable to cover the southern part of the city, including the beaches of Ipanema and Copacabana, as originally described in the tour itinerary. Additionally, you expressed a desire to personalize the tour by visiting places not listed in the original itinerary. We just got back from an excellent 4-hour tour with our guide Alexandre. He picked us up at our hotel right on time and took us straight to see Christ the Redeemer. He was very easy going and told great stories the entire way. We made a few quick stops on the way back and overall had a great experience. Huge thanks to the tour company for accommodating a last minute change as well, incredibly kind and gracious.

Well, me for one, left my phone in the bathroom at one of the stops. Without hesitation we went back to try and retrieve it from the bathroom. It was gone by the time we went back. It was only a matter of 10 minutes at most, but at lease I had the peace of mind knowing it was gone.
