De complete tour omvat een reis naar Baia delle Zagare, langs de vuurtoren van Sant'Eufemia, het oude Vieste (gewoonlijk "Ripa" genoemd), de Pizzomunno (witte monoliet, symbool van de stad), Arco di San Felice, Testa del Gargano, Baia di Campi, toren en baai van Portogreco, toeristencomplex van Pugnochiuso, Cala della Pergola, baai van Vignanotica en tenslotte de Faraglioni van Baia delle Zagare. Navigatie is inbegrepen in de duur.
De baai van San Felice wordt gekenmerkt door zijn ondiepe en zanderige zeebodem, zijn imposante boog die uit de zee oprijst, de Saraceense toren die de baai van bovenaf domineert en de uitgestrekte vegetatie die wordt weerspiegeld in het kristalheldere water. De baai is perfect om te zwemmen. U kunt echter met de schipper afspraken maken over andere zwemstops in verschillende baaien.

Everything was perfect, we went on 2 different excursions with them and we had a great time on both... we visited beautiful places and tasted delicious products... they are very professional... and if you happen to get Giuseppe as a skipper, well... he is the icing on the cake... I recommend him to you...
We booked a private boat trip for 4 hours and had a fabulous time. Our guide Guisepppe was very friendly and took us to see caves and grottoes that we would never have found ourselves. It was an excellent way to see the sea caves around Gargano peninsula. We stopped twice for a swim to cool down and guiseppe was very accommodating. We had booked an English guide but unfortunately this wasn’t the case so our understanding was limited.
We booked with Il Capitano as they were the most competitively priced and could accommodate our party of seven. The boat was comfortable and our skipper pointed out all the significance points of interest. He skillfully negotiated the boat in and out of numerous caves and took us to a beautiful cove where we swam in the crystal waters. The trip was the highlight of our holiday and I would highly recommend.
Together with my family, consisting of me, my husband, and two children (3 and 6 years old), I had the pleasure of visiting a stretch of the Apulian coast by sea, aboard one of the boats from “Il capitano”. Our skipper “Captain Antonio” immediately won over both adults and children with his friendliness and attentiveness. During the trip, he showed us the hidden wonders that the coast reserves only for those who truly know it, and he told us anecdotes related to the majestic landscape that stood out before us. A pleasant morning that was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. Communication with the organization was quick and fluid; they were very helpful and professional. Recommended!
This was an amazing and unmissable tour! Giuseppe was the best; he took us safely through mildly choppy water around the port to calmer water and into many of the caves, explaining everything in Italian. We loved having a small, private boat to navigate those tiny spaces. It is possible to do similar tours in Salento, Riviera del Cedro, Costa degli Dei, etc., but usually one cannot enter most of the caves, making Gargano unique. Highly recommended! Very kind and flexible people and a great experience!
Nice trip, experienced skipper, communicative and friendly. Attentive and sensitive to the needs of the most vulnerable passengers. He let us enter all the possible caves and for three and a half hours he was at our disposal. Price in line with other operators but the boat is very comfortable and practical.

They were extremely accommodating for any questions, since we were a group and had quite a few questions 🤣. The skipper was very skilled and professional, knew what he was doing, showed us the entire coast of Gargano with visits to various caves and swimming stops. We had fun and will definitely do it again, always with "The Captain" of course 👍🏻😊
